Best donuts in town - fresh baked each morning! The mascarpone filled and dulce de leche are addictive. For lunch, order the BLT (best and made w/ thick bacon) and a chocolate egg cream soda.
Craig MiddletonAugust 15, 2014This is a great restaurant. They recently renovated the place and it looks great! Has an old school feel to it, and the food is great! Try the oreo milkshake, and definitely try the donuts!
Liana WangJanuary 31, 2015Been here twice and loved it! Try their breakfast plate with corned beef hash, hash brown, two poached eggs with your choice of bread. So good! If you are not that hungry, the eggtzel is yummy too.- Dulce de Leche donuts, 2nd best donut in Hoboken, after Schnack's mascarpone cream filled donuts. Come in the morning to get them right out of the oven!
This place has so much personality. Ask the owner Eugene, a fellow with glasses and a nifty bow tie, about the history of this place and enjoy a bit of warm local culture. Oh- and have a donut.- Definitely start off with a classic chocolate egg cream soda. Don't worry, there's no egg in it! Its ice cold milk, seltzer, and Foxes U-Bet chocolate syrup.

Lindsey CashJanuary 5, 2014Breakfast 7am - 12pm, Lunch 12 - 5pm / 7 days a week. Stick with the classics: homemade donuts, burger, fries, milkshakes, plain grilled cheese.- Excellent corn beef hash and eggs. The corn beef hash isn't the canned variety either.

The Doughnut Ice Cream Sandwiches are the greatest thing on Washington Street
The tofu scramble is the best vegan option. Best with the red pepper sauce on every table.- They use real corn beef for the hash here. The ham and cheese omelette uses deli slices though, so don't expect diced ham chunks.
- After you've tried all the donuts, sample the cake here.
You'd be crazy not to get an assortment if donuts, to take home. So good!- The doughnuts are made in the old fashioned "cake" style. Quite good!

Consta KDecember 10, 2017Service is a bit sloppy, u have to call for coffee refill. Food is ok, we tried Florentine and steak and eggs. Both were a bit over cooked.

Schnackenberg’s Luncheonette is one of the oldest establishments in Hoboken. It reopened in 11/2013 after many upgrades, but the historic feel of the joint has been preserved. Salads, sandwiches, shakes & malts are among several of the options as well as home made chocolates
