They allow you to bring in a cooler with food and drinks. They also have plenty of picnic areas to store it while you enjoy the rides. Most first timers don't realize this and it can save you money.
The second water park is best! The black tubes at the first water park suck. Also... we kept getting stuck in literally all the rides at the first park due to poor engineering of the water flow! :p
Hottest Coolest Time in Texas! Loved tubing with Troop 1 and be sure to bring cooler with drinks & food plus lots of sunscreen. Lockers are available for anything you dont want to carry all day.
This waterpark is awesome. They have 3 different parks, all accessible by busses. Schlitterbahn also allows you to bring your own food inside the park so you do not have to purchase inside the park.
Get here early to ride the rides with out a long wait. If you stay at the resorts associated with schlitterbahn you get into the park and hour early before the public does.
It's the worlds best water park. How can you go wrong? Lines can be terrible at the newer rides but there are plenty of other fun rides that you don't have to stand in long lines for.
Bring prepared foods or a picnic in order to save money. Schlitterbahn is loads of fun but your wallet won't have as much fun as you. Aslo remember glass containers aren't allowed inside.
Great place to be all summer you won't ever get tired of it! But by a season pass, it may seem expensive but going to schlitterbahn two or three times already cost more than one season pass!

Don't bother getting a cabana. It took us forever to get to ours (and we reserved online). There's only one person manning the office. Very inefficient!
