Shabbat dinner is a worthy feast, accompanied by my favorite go to: matzah ball soup. It's one of the best I've had, short of mom's - really clean & home-made tasting. Good drinks & quaint decor too.
They have a pretty dope bourbon selection. Not totally a fan of their food options though. They usually open so much later than most restaurants in the area for happy hour. Rarely open on time.
Great cocktails, old-world lighting, high ceilings & spacious booths (matching drink list) for actual conversation without the standard NYC crammed, low ceiling, listen to all of your neighbors gunk.
The huevos rancheros is pretty awesome. Combine that with the great atmosphere, free Wi-Fi, and happy hour and I'm not sure there is a reason to go back to the office.
Drinks, Food, Service, Incredible. Green Acres, Invisible Man cocktails #drinkitude with Bone Marrow, Scallops, Schnitzle, Meatloaf #fooditude. Can't go wrong here.
I once ate two meals in a row here. Food is fantastic. Haven't had anything I didn't enjoy. Service could be better but it's not terrible. Great if you want somewhere quieter. They do take card now.
Good food, pretty well made drinks, but a bit on the expensive side. Also, bartender was way too slow; ended up canceling a drink b/c we asked for the bill & the drink had not been made 10min later.
While the food here is great, the service was extremely poor. We had a wrong order, missing side orders, and an inattentive waitress. With my party of 7, we were overcharged with a 20% auto-tip.
Named after Schapiro’s Kosher Winery, the last winery in Manhattan, this LES eatery and cocktail bar serves New American cuisine with a distinctive Jewish tilt.
