San Pedro Brewing Company opened in November 1999 and is owned by James Brown (not THAT James Brown). It was the former John T's Tavern, which was open from the early 1990s until its closure in 1998.

Was greeted at the front door by bouncer and unruly patron pushing and exchanging expletives. I'll enjoy future Port Town Pilsners in the comfort of my own home.

Good food great staff. Only a few blocks from the water front. Great beers. Hefeweizen is really good. Try the tri tip sandwich.

The ahí sandwich is amazing! Comes with avocado, mixed greens and a side of your choice. Makes for a great, inexpensive healthy lunch

The Ruben Sandwich makes up for the okay beer. They have decent beer but not up to par.

Their peppered shrimp with rock salt is always tempting. Just ate the sliders. Great, as always.
