Very easy to navigate inside. How’s the rental car location is a good bit of a walk.

You can find good restaurants in and out of the security check point. Very secure airport.
Jan FreemanJuly 24, 2016The parking lot is far. Not catwalk. Have to take a shuttle. I've never been to an airport that didn't have a parking lot attached. It's very disorganized and lots of construction.
TSS precheck works like a charm here. Very nice personnel and short lines after 8:30.

I'll rip them when they deserve it. But the screeners here in San Antonio are polite, good natured, and friendly. Good work. Now on to Atlanta and LaGuardia.

(ie sitting by outlets and not using them!)

They have you stand right next to the xray machine even if you opt out of the backscatter. What part of "I don't want to subject myself to that much radiation" do they not understand. Idiots.
Try the airplanes! They are a must have! I get one every time.
Excellent early morning staff at TSA and Dunkin Donuts. Check mark if you're here before 5 am.
AA usually requires 40 min check in with bags...fast and clean AA terminal, sbarro, subway grill and Rosario's are restaurant options at this terminal...

Brian WirthDecember 12, 2013Got here at 5:30am was through TSA and at my gate by 5:45. Don't if it was b/c I was at Terminal A or it was a Thursday but we flew!
