- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍October 28, 2015Salvation Pizza is a good choice for made-from-scratch thin-crust pizza, with an oval shape that just fits in a take-out box. Friendly counter service. Great wine , beer and nice outdoor patio
- Austin ChronicleJune 17, 2013Neapolitan-style thin-crust dough brings the aficionados to this old house remade into a pizza joint. The patio out front makes a cozy spot to suck down an icy brew while downing a tasty pie.
- Victoria SchaeferDecember 14, 2012Best pizza in ATX. Super thin crust fired in a real pizza oven. Fave is the shrimp pizza, but clam and bacon is a very close second. Rather take-out than dine-in.
- Social News NetworkJune 29, 2012GREAT happy hour from 4-6pm. Half price on all their beer and wine. Including the deliciously refreshing (and usually pricey) Live Oak HefeWeizen. A great beer for these Austin summers.
- Pizza crust is nicely balanced: not too doughy, not too crackery. Caesar salad dressing is very good. I also recommend the meatball appetizer.
- April RushinMay 24, 2015The pizza is so juicy without being greasy. Ask about their new desserts! Not on the menu yet, but completely amazing.
- Chelsea MMay 20, 2015Don't get the calzone unless you're into mostly ricotta and no red sauce inside the calzone. The sauce was good, set up for dipping but too chunky to dip. The happy hour deal on draft beer was great
- Greg StevensMarch 15, 2017The pizza is great. Had the Classic Italian sub this time...very good...along with a cold one on the porch? Hard to beat!
- Sam MelnickDecember 20, 2015The cannoli bites are sweet tastes of heaven served chilled with chocolate drizzle.
- JenniferOctober 12, 2011Best thin crust pizza in town. I don't think I've had a single bad pie from here -- the asparagus, bacon, & jalapeno may save your soul.
- No cheese pizzas: bacon and pineapple, or pepperoni black olives and mushrooms. Sounds crazy but they are great! Especially if you don't do dairy. Yum!
- Brook ShelleyAugust 10, 2014So-so gluten-free pizza. The crust is not very exciting. If you can eat wheat, they're pizzas are alright, and the outdoor seating can be nice in the right weather.
- Stacy WeitznerNovember 21, 2009A New Jersey boy who grew up working in his Dad's pizzeria told us about Salvation, calling it THE most authentic thin-and-chewy crust pizza in Austin. Our opinion? Amen and hallelujah! Read more
- Irene MaldonadoMay 23, 2012Can't beat the lunch special. Salad, two large slices of thin pizza and drink $6
- Casey PurselOctober 4, 2010The Asparagus, Bacon, Jalapeno Pizza is really good as long as you are in it for the overshadowing bacon. I do love some bacon
- Just stopped in to grab a pizza to go, but looks like a great place to take the family.
- Amber GonzalezMay 25, 2014If you like thin crust pizza. This is your place. Great pies and the small is definitely not small. More like a medium in normal pizza standards.
- Betsy HerringtonJuly 25, 2011Great pizzas... And plenty to share! The garlic bread is sooo great, too.
- Teo Espresso and GelatoMarch 12, 2010Salvation offers Teo Gelato at their pizza shop. We take the children to eat there, sit on the patio and have some really great pizza
- GeoffJune 13, 2010It's all about the #5 with chicken and prosciutto. Take out is just as good as staying in.
- The #2 specialty pizza is super noms! If you're a veg (like me) sub the bacon for eggplant, garlic, or roma tomatoes.
- Take yer pie home, stick 2-3 slices at a time on top rack of a HOT (450-500°) oven for 4-6 minutes. Yow! Nuclear pizza!
- Garlic bread is to die for. Local beers on tap.
- Get some toppings! They have the best spinach and eggplant.
