CMJAugust 29, 2012The dress code at St. Vitus is black, black, and more black. This bar and venue provides a welcome home for metal in Brooklyn, complete with cocktails with names like "The Priest" and "El Cardenal."
Food, drinks, a good vibe and an excellent music venue. What more do you want? A closer subway stop, maybe, but the B43 stops right in front.- L. T.February 1, 2015Great intimate venue! There are multiple bathrooms - don't stand in the hall waiting, there's another one on the other side! And try the hot snacks next to the bar - really good.

Surprisingly good bar food. Killer atmosphere and awesome staff. It's dark and gloomy how a metal bar should look. Far from the train though.

Veggie steamed buns with tofu and kimchee are the best late night bar snacks EVER.
Vegetarians try all of the veggie buns here. They are soooo good.
