The food is better than you think and it gets quite busy so fight for a table. You can lose hours and hours here because the cocktails are great but get it straight. Great selection of whiskey
Awesome craft cocktails. You cant go wrong with the Wake up call and the Sylvia. & ask for Joe, he's a great bartender .. The staff here is very unpretentious so it's a great atmosphere all around.
Go for the whiskey and their hilariously named menu categories like "Dry, Resinous, and Spicy", "Tobacco, Leather, and Chocolate", or "Old & Complex"... all of which describe your sex life. Zing! Read more
Mixologist dream selection of spirits and beers, great food as well. Very crowded but if you want to get started early it's a great stop. Try the Jeeves with the smoked salt! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Duck quesadillas, grilled cheese, homemade beef jerky are good. Cocktails are tasty and well-priced. Favorite was the fast break (cold brew, bourbon)-- they took it off menu but made one for me anyway
As the name suggests, American spirits are the emphasis at this dark, sultry bar. Along with a selection of bourbons and ryes, there are gins, vodkas and rums, all distilled in the States.
A great, talented bar staff and a good menu can be easily overshadowed by the area's swarm of trend-hopping locusts. Definitely worth a visit, definitely during off hours.
Find a spot near the door, enjoy the superbly crafted cocktails, and take in the constant stream of people heading up to some mysteriously epic rager at the apartment next door.
This spot serves more than 70 bourbons and whiskeys (including Utah’s High West Rocky Mountain rye). Our favorite drink is the citrusy punch amped up with chai-infused Wild Turkey and Batavia Arrack ( Read more
The manager - Choun - is THE whiskey aficionado of New York City. Every whiskey has a story, and you will have a much greater appreciation and taste for whiskey by the time you leave!
We enjoy our drinks & conversations w/ most of the bartenders. But that lil douche impersonating a bartender w/ the sad excuse for a salvador dali mustache has to go. He cant make drinks & lacks skill
If the front bar is crowded (as it usually is) just go to the back and grab a table with a few additional bites. Totally worth the extra breathing room.
Definitely not one of my favorite bars around here. They openly use measured pours and it is a little to illuminated. Lacks the character that man other cocktail bars have.
