The French Onion Soup was OK; the Beef Stroganoff would have been good (though way overpriced) if it hadn't been *so* overwhelmed with the truffle. It was so strong it was nauseating. Avoid, too $$$

Went for lunch before a matinee show at the Belasco Theater. Had the Beef Stroganoff. The tables are so close together but the place is quite beautiful.

KOBE TASTING: not recommended - this dish was a platter of overcooked, badly seasoned steak. i've had real kobe beef and this was definitely not it.
