Margherita was delicious but the Vodka pizza is the TRUTH and Rubirosa does pizza right. Grab a seat by the bar, have a brew or two, and just enjoy steaming hot, drool-worthy pies in your face. 😇
You can get more than one type of pizza on one pie! Get half vodka and another half that catches your eye. If you're hungry add the Rubirosa salad and a tiramisu.
Of course, the real business here is pizza, with standouts including the caprese of homemadestraciatella, tomato and pesto, or the mushroom and prosciutto, topped with peas and pecorino. Read more
Very thin crust pizza with naturally bold taste red sauce is just the perfection. Vodka saucepizza seemed the most popular one. The best pizza place in NoLita area! Other menus were so great as well.
Pizza was great. The Rubirosa supremo. Gluten free. Amazing. Service was good too. Till I was handed the cheque without asking, mid bite, half way through the pizza. Spoilt the experience completely
Tie die pizza did not disappoint. The half sausage and broccoli rabe was great too. The carbonara was good but def go for the pizza as there is better pasta in the city.
One of the best pizzas in New York City. Has a very nice atmosphere with great staff. If you want a piece of New York's pizza history, this place should be on your list.
Delicious thin crust pizza! Get a pie with half vodka & half Rubirosa supreme! They have handmade pasta - get the Roman cacio e pepe. For a panino/panini get the braciola/braciole.
You really can’t go wrong, but my favorite meal here would be the beef/veal/pork meatballs to start followed by vodka pizza and the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe 😍😍
This lively Little Italy restaurant is one of your best bets for classic red-sauce cuisine in New York City. Make sure to try one of the homemade pastas, and one of the ultra thin-crust pizzas. Read more
Best thing we had was the Tuscanmushroom pasta. Wow. The charcuterie was excellent. Cacio e Pepe was sub par but the tie dye pizza was out of this world.
Fantastic old school style pizza, a step up from the overrated but historically significant Lombardi's. More a sit down place to go with friends, thin crust, the vodka pizza is a great thing to try
Make a reservation! We used the Resy app and asked it to notify us when there’s availability. Took half vodka pizza and half supreme. It was great! The large is LARGE. Meatballs were also great!
Mulberry Street sweetheart Rubirosa offers three different menu options for parties of 8-20 guests. The most affordable of the mix "Spring Street Menu," which has 3 anitpasti, 2 pastas, and 3 pizzas. Read more
The gluten free menu is massive and out of this world. Having tried both the “normal” pizza and the GF, I can tell you they are almost exactly alike. You will not be disappointed.
Come with a few people so you can tour the menu but everything should revolve around the vodka pizza! Other faves incl eggplant parm, stuffed artichoke, Rubirosa salad and tomatoravioli. Mangia!
Vodka was amazing sauce. Classic was solid. Not big fan of their crust though so definitely don’t put them in contention for top nyc pizza. However..it’s super delicious!
the vodka pizza is so good. slices and full menu available up until 4pm so i like to go at 3-ish for a slice or two and one of the pastas. better on your own or with a friend -- it's teeny inside.
the vodka pizza is their specialty, and the tie-dye pie incorporates some pesto and red sauce with the vodka. some of the thinnest crust you'll find, but it holds up well!
Great spot that is larger than it appears, so do not be put off by any lines.Go with a group and grab a pizza and some pasta dishes. All the choices are delicious. I prefer the Cacio e Pepe.
This livelyrestaurant is one of your best bets for classic red-sauce cuisine in New York City. Make sure to try one of the homemade pastas, and one of the ultra thin-crust pizzas. [Eater 38 Member]
Best pizza in Manhattan as far as I'm concerned! Must try the vodka saucepizza, and the broccoli-rabe and sausage pizza! Also try the Rubirosa salad and stuffed artichokes as an appetizer.
Make sure to make a reservation. The pizza is really good, thin crust, good quality (although limited) ingredients... The restaurant is authentic and full of locals.
This Italian spot has an entire menu dedicated to GF dishes, including the unicorn of the bunch: pizza. We’ll take an order of chicken Parmesan and meatballs (made with gluten-free breadcrumbs), too. Read more
Amazingly crispy pizza bases, coupled with the best tomato (and vodka) sauce ever. Get the tomato, mozzarella and basilpizza to share, with a salad on the side. Sit at the bar for the best vibe.
Honestly, the best pizza I’ve ever had. And yes, I’ve been to Italy. The dough is perfectly thin, get the Vodka Pizza and the Rubirosa Supreme, both are fantastic!
One of the best pies in the city. Crust is thin and crisp just the way a NY pizza should be. Pesto pies shouldn't be overlooked. Expect a wait though if you didn't reserve no matter when you go.
Amazing flavours! Try the vodka and mozzarellapizza, or the pasta with meatballs. Be careful though - large pasta is much larger in price. You can go half and half on pizza to try different flavours
Love this place! Best Pizza in NY. The pizza bread is crispy and delicious. Spaghetti with meatballs were out of this world! Make sure to add cheese, oregano and chili flakes to you pasta!
Holy. Eat everything here, true traditional Italian done right (why is that so hard?!). If you have to choose: vodka pizza and take your pick through the homemade pastas
Took a while for food to come out, but worth the wait! Incredible pizzas; amazing spaghetti & meatballs; roasted octopus was <3, and tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. Reservations are a must!
Looovely place, delicious and quick. Small Bianca pizza adding prosciutto for two plus an Arugula salad. 🙌🏼 Water was fine since the food quantities are big.
This tiny but cool pizza spot was serving made to order person pizza pies Which is the only way to do it. They have all different types of topping and also serve alcohol and suggest perfect pairings.
Little Italy is packed with options, but this is my new go to. Meatballs were fresh & homemade, sauce was on the money and the thin crust pizza top notch. Personable service and great experience.
Such a cozy place with delicious food. Great for groups as well as dates. Thin crust pizza is top notch, but don't overlook the salad, calamari, and ravioli; all favs from our table.
Vodka pizza, razor clams, charcuterie plate, and arugula pizza all great. Amazing food but not sure the hype really deserves foursquare #1 pizza in NYC.
Vodka pizza with the pesto swirl is one of my favorites in the city. Super thin and crispy crust. Reserve a seat in advance or there will be a wait that’s well worth it.
Cosy place. Easy to get a lease know lunchtime in a week day. Service was great. And the pizza's are amazingggggg. Prices are fair also. Recommend highly
Choose any salad, pasta, and pizza to share for 4 people (and a bottle of wine...or 2). Pizza is thin crust and really crispy, just delicious. Not to mention the place has a great ambiance.
Pesto pizza and the Butter Ravioli were both amazing. We got seated at a table by the host stand, which was a little annoying, but the food made up for it.
Roasted brussels sprouts, tie-dye pizza, salads, the olive oil that comes with the fresh baked bread... all of it is delicious. It's one of those 'you can't go wrong' menus.
Obviously get the vodka pizza with mozzarella - it’s the best tomato/cheese combo ever... so creamy. Two of us shared a large pizza: half fungi and half vodkamargherita. Still thinking about it tbh
