Beautiful gardens, even during winter. Take tram 5 to Domain station n walk towards Shrine of remembrance. Gardens is just behind. Factor in 2-3 hrs n observe d many magpie birds n water hens.
Loved the small banners next to each specimen of flora and in the vicinity of every fauna. It can get a bit crowded, but its an amazing place.A walk here is always good! Ps:On Mondays its less crowded

Can't miss in Melbourne, this was one of the best botanic gardens I've been to. Plus, it's free! Come when it's sunny and work in your tan in one of the many lawns.
Try the cafe by the ornamental lake great location and nice food.Gardens are so peaceful and lots of shady areas on a hot day. Well presented and looked after.
The Garden Shop. Interesting stimulating merchandise for avid gardeners to remember their time here. Reminds me of Kew Garden shop. Really squeeze creative energy out of you.

This is the home of the Titan Arum, largest unbranched cluster of flowers. About 2m tall, blossoms for 2-3 days before collapsing. Also known as the corpse flower due to its rotting smell when bloom.
