Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a good starter coaster. Sit in the front of the train for a tamer ride. If you're looking for a wilder ride, sit in the back!
Each game during the attraction is 30 seconds. Start scoring points as soon as possible and listen for the final 5 second countdown.
Sit on the left side of the tram if you want a first row view of the Catastrophe Canyon sequence.
Make sure everyone uses the restroom before taking your seat. You can’t save seats and the entire experience can take an hour (waiting for the show to begin, preshow & actual show).
Have part of the group hold your place in the waiting area while the rest explores the aquarium in The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion.
If you have back problems, Space Mountain may not be for you. Try Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad instead (still a bit rough though).
Score more points by shooting targets that are farther away. Also, moving targets are worth more points than stationary ones!
If MSEP is running twice, watch the 2nd one and take advantage of short attraction lines during the 1st one.
The front seat controls the height, the back seat controls the tilt. For 2 parent/2 child families, decide on positions ahead of time to prevent arguments.
