Arrive at 4:30pm to put your name down for dinnerreservations when they open at 5pm. Excellent food, cocktails, and service. Don't miss the curry or the goat, always listen to specials.
Grab a seat at the bar on 2nd floor, or ask to sit on rooftop. Lycheesalad and egg raviolo are must-orders. It's the veggies that shine in raviolo dish.
The service here was outstanding. They just brought us three dishes we mentioned we were debating choosing and recommended some of their favorite other places in DC! Def go for the Primavera Pasta!!!

You cannot go to Roses and not enjoy the Lycheesalad, it's a must. We had the brisket, pestofusillipasta plus a mini side of the Mexican corn and carrots. Dessert was the French toast, worth it
Inventive menu. start with the pork sausage/lychee app (mix it up!). Popcorn soup is rich. Fried chicken - great mix of sweet and salty. Cacio e pepe 👍, pesto less so. French toast + foie gras = yum.

Despite the waiting line under the rain, we had our seats very quickly. Food is amazing, beautiful place, very good service and nice wine list. You have to eat here!
Incredible dining experience! The culinary flavor pairings, cool vibe, and attentive service are all top-notch. President Obama dined here on his 54th birthday.
A truly amazing dining experience. The Pork Sausage, Habanero, and LycheeSalad is one the best things you will ever eat. Michael their GM is a great guy. The whole place runs with military precision!
Worth the hype. I could eat the pork lychee salad and the cacio e pepe all night. Get there before 5pm to put your name in for 2nd service (around 645) and enjoy happy hour at Molly Malone's next door

We were in town from NYC for one evening and stopped by. The lycheesalad, with tempeh substitute, is the absolute truth. Lacy’s (bartender) conversation complemented our awesome drinks! Love it all.
Bring a few friends to wait in line with and try almost everything on the menu. Highlights include the lycheesalad, corn with guajillo chile, pickle-brined fried chicken, and caramelizedcauliflower.
Rose's Luxury is chef Aaron Silverman's white-hot local debut, serving dishes like popcorn soup and fennel-stuffed gnocchi. It all takes place in a cozy space on Barracks Row.
Amazing! After tons of style over substance mediocre food spots in DC (has both), Rose's is so refreshing. Lycheesalad, gnocchi, carbonaraspaghetti, brisket - phenomenal. Great drinks and service.
I'm generally a harsh critic and have to say, everything we got was wonderful. Pork and lycheesalad, popcorn soup, strawberry pasta, and fried chicken, all wonderfully complex in flavor and texture.
Lycheesalad, hand- shaped farfalle, strawberry pasta, tandoori chicken (maybe the best I’ve had). Couldn’t say better things about this entire menu. Highly recommend anything on the menu.
Barracks Row hotspot from Momofuku alum Aaron Silverman, with an eclectic menu spanning pho to popcorn soup. The bar upstairs, furnished with antiquecouches, is a nice perch to wait from.
Fun and creative food. Nice relaxed atmosphere - hits the sweet spot between casual and professional service. Try the eggplanttart for dessert. Like it or hate it, it's unique!
Really great food, cocktails and service! The no reservation for small parties issue is not too bad. If you can wait in line before it opens, you can put your name in the queue for a later time.
Absolutely the best dining experience of my life so far. Amazing service and aesthetic, mind-blowingly delicious AND creative dishes, and waiting staff so friendly your heart will melt.
We loved everything and we ordered a lot! Caviar, oysters, tofuKung Pao, Carrot with yogurt, vegetable salad, whole fish, eggplant Parmesan and coconutice cream.
"small, sharable plates categorized into cold, warm & grill, pasta. Among the best seasonal items are thick, fat bucatini topped with a tangy sungold tomato sauce, and fresh, creamy peaches" FR
Totally worth the wait. My favorite dish was the pork sausage, habanero and lycheesalad. Service was great and our waiter even gave us a dish to try on the house.
Great restaurant with innovative food. A bit almost "too hopping" at time. Interetesting compinatons of ingridents. Excellent drinks. You'll seem "hip" and "dialed in" if you go.
Food is unique and delish - small plates are pricy, but portioned nicely enough that you feel like you're actually getting something to eat. Staff couldn't be friendlier and decor is amazing!!
