Very fancyhotel with beautiful decor, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, spa, many restaurants & bars! The only bad thing is that they are affiliated with SeaWorld, so never staying again until those ties are cut!
Hotel has 3 pools excellent pools, conference rooms and food are very good to go with a very elegant clean look. Don't know that I'd vacation here but very good for large groups.
Be prepared to be spoiled here. Hank Rosen, you are to be commended for the best stafftraining ever. Five Star treatment from everyone here. Beautiful resort. Spa morning!
They have a lot of floors, long hallways, restaurants, pools, cool elevators to every hotel rooms, free transportation and much more. Thanks!Terrence Michael Bonner .
Ask for a room on a high floor with a view. If possible get something closer to the elevators, otherwise plan on using your hike to the room as your daily work-out.
This is a massive hotel with plenty of space for that 2,500 person meeting and places to hide if you are a traveler of one. Multiple pools, places to eat and shops.
One big plus is the service. We've had some hiccups with a large conference (breakfast buffet should be at least sort of warm; their computer systems are down) but everyone has been super helpful
We chose to self park. Walk to the convention area and take the exit there, that's airconditioned all the way to the car. We never had to park further than 100yrds from the entrance.
Valet is $5 more & will save u tons of time. Free, fast wifi. Tip housekeeping daily to get extra amenities. The free shuttle to Universal leaves well after the park opens...easier to drive.
Everyone is incredibly helpful. I was in for a conference w/ over 4000 women. On my last day Ron at the buffet/cafe was exceptional. And they have gluten freedesserts. Yay!
If you can swing an extra $50 a day upgrade to ConciergeLounge. Ends up being more affordable with all you can drink beverages, continental breakfast, evening appetizers, turndown and desserts
The pools are not heated, the wifi is free, beds are sooo comfy, been here 2 nights and 3 days and have not payed to self park yet, and they only have basic freakn cable. Love the robes in the rooms!
You definitely won't go hungry with this hotel's numerous restaurants and lounges. Indulge in delicious steaks including the all natural prime black Angus beef at A Land Remembered.
the http://RosenShingleCreek.com @ShingleCrkGolf - We found this Hotel years ago via @Pop_Warner & have come back year after year - its outstanding, better if you play Golf & best if you get a Suite
Even the "new" internet access is slower than your Great-Aunt Muriel on her hoveround motorchair after her second glass of Lambrusco. Bring your own, or set your expectations very low.
Very beautiful and spacioushotel. Rooms are not a bad size, beautiful pools. Perfect destination for large conferences. The Mexican restaurant was the only disappointment
This hotel is gorgeous! The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Summit 2012 was great! Anyone's tip that says this place sucks, clearly doesn't know what good is. It's expensive... But worth it!
Everybody seems to lives the beds, but we're no fans. Food price in the hotel is high, as to be expected. The Publix across the street has much more agreeable beer and snack prices.
Very nice resort, and got a great deal on Hotwire. Free wifi, friendly help. Why they charge for self park is a mystery, but valet is not much more money and is way more convenient anyway.
Self-parking is $12 here, but the distance can be far. If you have the extra cash, get valet parking ($20) as they have a great crew and you can call from your room to have it bought to the front!
One of the best resorts in Orlando! Publix right across the street and a fantastic pizzeria NYPD Pizza for all your cravings. Pick up or have NYPD deliver at great prices!
When drinking alcohol here, be aware of additional charges automatically added for gratuities from the waitress staff. A $9 Piña Colada could run you $13. Remember there is a Publix across the street.
If you are here for a cheerleader conference/competiton, PLEASE shut the hell up & leave the high-pitched squealing & Ra Ra Ra for the event & not inside the hotel bar or hallways! Ughhh.
Enjoy a drink at the bar, and take in the nice scenery in the shade. The bartenders are cool, and they are eager to make some conversation while hanging out.
The conference area is nice, however the fact that you have to pay for wireless is nuts, especially the price. The grounds are the best feature about this place, well maintained & exotic.
Situated on 230 acres of lush landscape and Central Florida’s most luxurious meeting destination. Our stunning grand lobby welcomes you into a world of lavish choices, complete with luxury accommodations, enticing restaurants and a championship golf course.
