- The Brew NoobAugust 10, 2015Above the music venue on the ground floor is a long bar on the top floor, with an excellent selection of craft beer on draft and bottles, so bring your friends who like to dance and drink!
- I love everything about this place. Great intimate venue & also great place to grab drinks on the weekend.
- BROADSApril 29, 2013One of our favorite venues in DC! Get a drink in the Presidential Suite and say hey to our girl Faith if she's around!
- David MeyersMarch 24, 2019three floors. so if you go with people and want to do something else you can get away from the band. a lot of cool first stops on tours.
- Adam SchlessmeierMarch 18, 2017Shittiest music venue in D.C. It's usually too crowded, the setup makes it hard to see the stage, and the security staff is often rude. I've been to good shows here, but they'd be better at Black Cat.
- Kelsey HarnistOctober 24, 2015Hilarious excuse for a performance venue...beyond the first 2 rows you will have a great view of the shirts the people in front of you wore that day.
- BethAugust 14, 2014It was a little intimidating walking into the long all black main stage area but once the show began...It was amazing to be that close to the band!
- The new roof deck is open, but contains few nude sunbathers, and even less of them are eating waffles- as advertised. Still worth it, though, as the sound guy is cheerful, and the bouncers are polite.
- NightSceneNovember 18, 2010Large venue, with great themes, rent out your own room, or party in the main rooms. This place always has a changing theme of the night, everything from Air Guitar Contest to Famous DJ appearances
- Caitlin LambertFebruary 18, 2015Great venue that serves good food and even better music and entertainment
- Mark SmithMarch 23, 2012Check out the Spelling Buzz at 8 on Fridays - take one adult spelling bee, add drinking, and watch the carnage :-)
- Sinic StatonApril 28, 2013The roof top bar is nicely laid out and they even have a cornhole game. Please don't tell the djs its your birthday, it makes you look immature.
- Victoria MerriweatherJuly 7, 2012Great venue to hear good bands. Awesome sitting rooms on the 2nd floor to chill, and rooftop has the best bartenders.
- Tyler HastingsOctober 23, 2014Very small and intimate venue. Passionate crowd. Good place for a rock show. Crowd-surfing happens here.
- Check out the second floor. Best way to describe it would be the inside of an abandoned British rockstar's mansion.
- Mikey ZApril 18, 2015They have food here now! Get the veggie burger, it's delicious and a great deal.
- Ticket AlternativeNovember 27, 2012With a great location on H Street, check out concerts here! Grab tickets at ticketalternative.com Read more
- ScoutmobJanuary 11, 2012The adventurous owners debuted this rooftop deck in mid-November 2011, where nooks and crannies abound for seating next to their many heaters.
- The FeastJune 9, 2011The H Street club draws good bands, but is small and can get cramped. For concerts, make sure to get there plenty early for a spot up front.
- An H St. classic only gets better...sound improved? Roof deck!
- Washington BladeAugust 19, 2011Saturday Mixtape is taking over both floors to throw its fifth anniversary closing party from 9-2:30am with guest DJS vANNIEty Kills & Cale. $7 cover or $5 with a BYGays Pool Party wristband. 21+

- Laura G AdamsSeptember 25, 2011If you want to just get out and dance, put this place on your to-do list. Lots of fun and great music.
- Jimmy is lord of the rooftop bar on Saturdays. Ask him for a cinnamon toast crunch.
- Stephanie PetersonOctober 9, 2012Great intimate venue! It felt like I was really a part of the show.
- There's a Tornado foosball table in the game room upstairs. It's actually in pretty decent condition, but needs some actual foosballs. Will probably gift 'em with some on my next visit.
- Elise SweeneyMay 6, 2012STAY AWAY from the "red rum" frozen drinks on the roof - I've never been sicker in my life after drinking 3 drinks!
- Ticket AlternativeAugust 7, 2011Download Rock and Roll Hotel's free iPhone app, available on the app store. Advance tickets for all shows are available from TicketAlternative.com
- Doors inevitably open late for shows. Kill time at the bar upstairs.
- Audrey AFebruary 15, 2011Haven't been for a show yet, but the upstairs bar is quite loud and gets pretty crowded. Navigating through the halls into the sitting rooms can get difficult.
- Thomas PruittAugust 7, 2012Ok place with solid bartenders. Loads of not-quite hipsters and nerdy guys trying to hook up with hipster women (who don't come here), though.
