- My favorite tasting menu of all time. Chef serves different dishes for certain courses for each dinner so you can maximize your tasting! Def going back for more!
- Wilson Favre-DelerueSeptember 26, 2016A tasting menu that appears deceptively simple yet reveals layers of surprises in flavours and techniques. Magnificent produce and superb execution make for one of SF's best tables.Upvoted Oct 5
- Anna FrenkelMay 15, 2013Bread, oysters, beets, porcini doughnuts, cauliflower, snow peas, ramps, spaghetti w/ goat cheese, salmon, steak, olive oil cake with strawberries. Oh forget it, just eat everything on the menu.
- Ms HeleneAugust 17, 2018Bites: potato chip with a sardine on top $2 each, porcini donuts with cheese sauce, 7 for $9, salmon sashimi with sukiyaki broth $19, tomato aguachile with avocado tostada $17 & uni pasta
- Liza PAugust 10, 2015Unusual, interesting but not complicated dishes. Every time it's a wonderful dinner! Be kind to yourself - have an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert, and of course a couple cocktails!
- Mike WinstonFebruary 28, 2017The tasting menu is a crazy deal. It's just a barrage of inventive dishes, including some off-menu. This quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in SF. Read more on WinstonWanders.com
- Ian CFebruary 13, 2015The Chef's Tasting Menu is generous and reasonably priced at $88pp. Everyone on the table needs to order it. However, dishes served are difft per person so you get to taste a wide gamut of options.
- Fantastic- can squeeze into the bar on most nights. They have a burger at the bar that's lights out. Let them make you cocktails. Focus on pasta and steak and the funkiest appetizer. Sardine chips.
- Pavan KulkarniJune 2, 2017One of my fav places in Sf. The food is amazing and really worth every penny. Try the sardine chips , porcini doughnuts appetisers . Soft shell crab lo mein and ricotta were yum. Cocktails are 👍🏽
- tablehopperAugust 3, 2014The cult dish is the sardine chips ($7), with a filet threaded through a crisp potato chip that you dip into horseradish cream—it’s the new gourmand’s hot pocket. Read more
- Ari SigalJanuary 30, 2018One of my favorite restaurants in SF. Porcini donughts were unbelievable, burata Carmelle pasta was good but not special, duck breast was tender and delicious and their off menu mint chocolate dollops
- Liza PAugust 3, 2017Rich table is just wonderful! Experimental, but really tasty dishes, great cocktails, and fantastic desserts. If you enjoy textures and interesting flavor pairings - this is the place for you.
- Brad TJanuary 4, 2015A tremendously great experience all around. Great food, delish cocktails, and attentive service. We had 3 starters, 2 pastas and the steak and shared everything (our own little tasting menu).
- Sydney MJuly 3, 2018Everything here is so amazing! Favorites were the sardine chips (and I hate sardines!), tonarelli sea urchin pasta, and tonkatsu
- Brittany SübersMay 25, 2018Good vegetarian options but the menu changes slightly each time you go! The dumpling/gnocchi starter that was awesome, asparagus was cold (blegh), donuts were great, avocado appetizer is also good.
- Carmen SutterJanuary 21, 2015Innovative farm-to-table menu. Tasting menu offers 12 shareable small plates. Sardine chips, burrata, buccatoni with duck confit, cod with miso foam, meyer lemon panna cotta - all phenomenal
- Nicole RocchioMarch 28, 2019The dried porcini doughnuts and miso risotto with black truffle were life changing. We also had the roasted squash dumpling, burrata tostada, and bread. Would highly recommend them all.
- Rose ASeptember 14, 2013You'll have a hard time deciding what to order but don't fret. Everything is delicious. But you must start off with the Porcini Doughnuts & Sardine Chips (you'll enjoy even if you don't like sardines)
- Brad TJanuary 4, 2015Holy schnizzle, must get the duck liver mousse. You've never had anything like it before. Not PB&J, PD&J (Popcorn, Duck & Jam). Trust.
- Andrew HarastaMarch 27, 2018Incredible culinary style and quality. Some dishes are distinctly Californian and all are delicious! Tasting menu is a great way to experience this place!
- Garry TanOctober 1, 2016Get the chefs tasting. Be warned that people won't get to eat the same thing if everyone gets it as a group but about 2/3rds of folks end up sharing a bite or two.
- Sofia FigueroaFebruary 11, 2018Tasting menu+ wine pairing has a ton of interesting culinary treats and it's not just wine they bring!
- Khoa MaJanuary 6, 2015So many things to love about Rich Table. The sardine chips being a major highlight. Beef tartar and the cod. Rich Table is wonderful.
- Arthur Le MeurJune 19, 2018Tasting menu was great. Food is fresh, some originality. Porcini donuts, uni pasta, almond granita were my favourite.
- Skip the sardine chips. Always go for the burrata, tartare, and any of the pastas.
- Joslyn BakerJune 5, 2014Tasting menu is a bargain! Very creative food, perfectly prepared. Can be a bit noisy in the casual dining room. Service is great. Can't wait to go back.
- Travel + LeisureSeptember 27, 2013Dishes at this homey restaurant balance acidity and texture, and highlight surprise ingredients—sardine-laced potato chips are served with horseradish sauce; chicken lasagna with popped sorghum.
- Madeline BowmanOctober 25, 2014Everything! Get everything! I suggest doing the tasting menu, but if you have the time and a huge appetite. It's 8 amazing courses, different every time!
- CITY GRITAugust 1, 2014Evan and Sarah Rich are crushing it - we’re especially fond of their Brandade with Churros and Sour Orange, Tagliatelle with Dry Aged Beef, and the Scallops with Creamed Nettles.
- Nik MittelsdorfJanuary 10, 2017One of my favorite places in SF. Porcini Doughnuts are off the hook. Farm-to-Table restaurant. Seasonal ingredients from local places.
- Exquisite tastes that stay with you long after the meal has ended. And they do a surprise complimentary dessert for birthdays!!
- Kathy 👩🏻💻 LinJanuary 18, 2016Make a reservation -- it's a pretty small space and the tables are close together. Be prepared to for the full on communal dining experience. The chef even came over to tell us about our appetizer! :)
- Anouk RayAugust 9, 2018Everything that I had was incredible! I would highly recommend the watermelon ice for dessert. Probably the best meal that I have had in sf
- Carly SJune 5, 2017Porcini Doughnuts with Raclette Dipping Sauce (5 of the best words in the english language COMBINED)
- Tasting menu is awesome- and be prepared to feel stuffed unless you are starving! Love their pastas and wine/cocktails.
- Alex PriestSeptember 19, 2017Very tasty and creative dishes. Service at bar (admittedly on a Sunday night) was not outstanding. Tasting menu is a win, but come hungry.
- Leah JohnsonFebruary 26, 2019The tasting menu is wonderful. Also, the porcini donuts are amazing for a late night snack.
- Sam SpadeMay 3, 2013The tasting menu is very reasonably priced and is great value at ~10 courses for $80. Despite being insanely full, you'll want to finish each of the courses served because they are that good.
- Brian LSeptember 7, 2016Tasting menu was a fantastic experience, but would happily come back just for the creative appetizers and cocktails. Porcini doughnuts!
- Nico PitneyFebruary 4, 2015Loved the donuts and hummus app. Bread and meal (we split crab pasta and cod) were fine. Service did not enhance the experience. Too many stellar other options in SF to prioritize this one.
- Joseph TerranellaAugust 25, 2016Porcini doughnuts, burrata, roasted melon, cauliflower vindaloo and the dry aged ribeye was one of the juiciest steaks I've ever eaten
- Ana LadygazpachoFebruary 17, 2015Absolutely everything. Amazing well mixed plates creations and good wine selection. Be sure you finish your dinner with Chocolatte Panacota!
- Susan LohJanuary 31, 2014If the 9:30pm reservation is the only availability, take it! Chicken liver mousse, crab tagliatelle, pork belly. And save room for cheese.
- Travel + LeisureNovember 30, 2012Try the chicken-liver mousse with pole beans and dill, topped with a crumbly cracker of pain de mie. Incongruously, it all works.
- Carsten RoehrJanuary 19, 2015Amazing experience! Textures and flavors were just perfect! Good job chef! :) Worth the money!
