Food was excellent, the 2 CREEMORE beer I had were SMOOTH as SILK & the Jazz band played SWEET SWEET JAZZ !!! Our server was AMAZING !!! She was so efficient, attentive & very friendly to our party
Basic, but decent and clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Some decent craft beer on, too. Don't expect an early night though, the jazz goes on 'til late!
If you like jazz/blues, and if you are from anywhere, you should make a point to go to the Rex. The acts there are consistently first rate, the beer is cold, and the food is well-prepared.
Expensive like all the hotels in downtown Toronto, but the room and bathroom (in-suite) were clean, it was quiet and the location is awesome. Lame complementary breakfast and no stairs.
Easily the best Jazz club in Toronto. Only warning is the volume (try not to sit too close to the front), and the ketchup (it tastes a bit off). Otherwise, their $2.75 plate of fries is killer.
The worst service ever, the place is great and the jazz excelent, but the waitresses are very unpolite and they got mad every time we ask them for something
Never order the wings! Worst in the city. Like pigeon wings. Tiny, soft and each appears to have been hit be a car. Every wing had the bones broken so hard to eat. Like eating smashed Lego pieces.
