Take the 45 minute tour to see inside (free with your Stockholm Card). Leave time to take in the courtyard views. This destination can be done in 1 hour.
One of the best museums I've been to. Excellent exhibits and fun to spend time here. So much to see! Give yourself at least 1.5 hours and start with the film (pick up the brochure as you step inside).
Lovely art collection (sculpture, painting) and a wonderful view. Give yourself about 10 minutes walk from the 7 tram and about 45 mins to check out the place.
Skip the line in the dining hall; grab a pastry and coffee from the cart and find a bench under the apple trees. Getting here is a 10 minute walk up a gravel path from the 7 tram. Give yourself 1hr.
Took 3h tour...excellent! Include lunch; it's a great deal. After you board, get to the 2-seat bench in back of the boat for the least wind. You'll be pacing back and forth for the view anyway!
Get a Stockholm Card at any "i" (tourism) office in town. Get 2 day pass unless you can keep up a 3-museums-a-day for 3 days. Kudos to you. Countdown on the card starts after your first stop.
Sculptures by the water! Pick a sunny day, bring your Stockholm card. Subway to Ropsten and then bus number 201, 202, 204, 205, 206 to Torsviks torg. 5 min walk to garden follow signs.
This is incredibly annoying to get to; 15 min walk from closest bus/subway station. Go if there is an artist you're wanting to see (we saw Helmut Newton's show) and lovely views from the cafe.
Great museum for Modern Art, and really nice collections. Give yourself 30 minutes here at least.
Loved this! Probably because they had the Gaultier exhibit going on. Spent about 45 minutes in here.
Check out the scale model of Stockholm and get a bird's-eye view as you push buttons to point lasers onto the different neighborhoods. Great way to get a "lay of land" :)
This train goes direct from airport to Central station in 20 minutes. Buy ticket online in advance for a better deal & less to think about. Present the credit card you used to the conductor, easy!
