A very diverse selection of German beers incl. Weihenstephan, Kostriker, Schofferhofer, Hofbrau, Hacker-Pschorr & more. The Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Naturtrus pretty much equates to grapefruit beer.
Most of the big German beers are here. Get a half or full liter, even get Das Boot. Slightly higher priced, but its midtown. Worth a visit with coworkers, clients, etc. But better options around NYC.
I don't like German beers, so I came for bratwurst and a cocktail. Delicious! So don't worry if you're not a beer drinker. Lots of space for all your friends, but maybe make a reservation.
This is by far the best beer hall in New York. Here you find authentic German food and an awesome selection of German beers. We had a great time with the shot skis too!
Its menu icludes giant pretzels, cheese filled sausage and, of course beer. Many who venture tackle the boot (a glass boot filled with beer) and we would advise you do the same (at least once). Read more
Mark yer calendars! Grammy nominated Alex Meixner band plays May 1st for Maifest, Germany's traditional welcome to Spring! Maifest is 2 weeks and is like Oktoberfest with Maibock beer being served.
Is it just me or do the prices seem to be going higher and higher? I can genuinely get a half liter of everything on their menu for $3 less. Business bros drinking out of boots for days...
Not sure why people say this place is overpriced. I found it to be quite a good value and you're in Midtown! Order the pretzel... it will be one of the biggest pretzels you've ever see!
Shotski night starting 7 PM. Don Julio Tequila team will be buying yours. Don't get here too late since Rangers are playing in the Stanley Cup Finals and this game is do-or-die.
Augtoberfest in full effect with Hofbrau Summer and Sion Kölschon tap. Polka Superstar Alex Meixner will be jamming here August 18th so mark your calendars. Prost!
Decent German beer selection but the bartenders don't know a dunkelweiss from a Hofbrau original. Schnitzel was large but bland. Expect a wait for a table spot.
Our nickname is Munich in Midtown because we are a Bavarian Beer Hall & German restaurant a short stroll from Penn Station or the Empire State Building. We feature the best beer selection and most authentic cuisine of any German Bierhalle in New York City.
