They have the most heavenly cakes (the spongy cannelés are a must-try) and their breads are some of the best you can get in Amsterdam.
Everything homemade and grown in their own garden. Nothing fancy just honest, organic and authentic food. Tiny place and limited seating. Reservation is a must. Eggs benedict are yum. And those pies!

Nice place to get a decent, low-cost glass of wine or a beer in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. You may have to poke someone with a stick to get some attention.
They do only one type of cookie, but it's by far the best cookie I've ever tasted on my life. Totally worth it. Eat them while still fresh for double awesome
This place is amazing. The food was incredible. The pizza was so authentic I felt like I was in Italy. Amanda and Loulou were the best servers I have experienced being in Europe.

The chocoshot with chocolate from Madagascar is fantastic. Enjoy your little espresso cup of chocolate awesomeness at the bar while chatting with the employees.
The blueberry bacon and maple syrup pancakes were amazing and the setting was fantastic, really cozy and warm
Great burger and spare ribs. The kitchen is open @ night! Cosy setting, nice curtains which give a theater feel. A bit hipster.
First third wave coffee place in Nieuwe West, with high ceilings and nice seating concept with various levels and home to the Dutch Aeropress Champion. Great place to work.
[Free] There's an espressobar in the Rijksmuseum garden. Also serves beer, water, no lemonade. It's a beautiful garden with some very nice collection pieces, an Aldo van Eyck playground for instance.
Great spot to hangout on a sunny day and take photos, do cartwheels, have a picnic,visit museums. van Gogh and Banksy exhibits are nearby. One of my favorite locations in Amsterdam! 👌🏽🙂
A cosy French restaurant nicely located on the corner of the street, overlooking a small square. Great terras to enjoy in the summer. We had 'parelhoen' and the entrecote, both were excellent.
Recent renovations now give me more areas to explore. Clean tidy park with plenty of faccilities. No bikes, dogs on lead, no litter, no BBQ's - trails and gardens. easy to find a quiet spot
