The awesome place hidden on the top floor of an old creaky house. Just ring the bell "Čítárna", go upstairs and discover the amazing bar and reading room with an arsenal of books and magazines.
I am so glad Prague is growing up and such wonderful places are opening!!! Wooden tailor made bar with great wines & food, very good service and a pitcher of water on each table. A pleasure to come!
As underground as it can get. Great unfiltered beer, good hermelin cheese and even live music in the evenings.
Amazing place. Amazing interior. Amazing snacks and food. Amazing choice of drinks. Amazing service. The only bad thing. Most time it's so full, you won't get a place. That's how a bra should look.
On initial looks its a bit dingey and has bizarre carpets and odd trinkets on the wall.. Turns out that all part of the quirky design. Excellent cocktails, plenty of seating but not a music bar. A1!
Wonderful view, amazing atmosphere, nice Music and just awesome prices (6€ for a cocktail). Totally worth it!
Monarch is great, non-smoking , great wine from abroad or from Moravia, perfect service and good selection of tapas, cheese and pastikas :-)
Cult place in the Hradcany, Prague 1. As i know, 20 years has nothing changed! Old school Czech traditional pub with neverchanging unique atmosphere!
