good enough hotel if you can not afford Four Seasons, Banyan tree and Six senses (do spend a bit more money if you can for mentioned hotels).not recommend beachfront suites and regular cottage suites.

Hire a 4x4 car and buy the book "A Companion To Easter Island" follow the 1 day and 1/2 day routes. Bring a torch to explore caves. If you have time hike to the highest peak you get a full 360 view.
