Best of Boston 2016: Indian Restaurant 🇮🇳 :: Meltingly tender, bone-in goatmasala, accompanied by hubcap-size naan; sitar-heavy soundtrack; adrenaline-fueled open kitchen.
(according to my Punjabi friends) as close to Punjabi good as it gets in the area. I won't comment on authenticity, as I'm not Indian, but the lambtikka was absolutely delicious. Very cheap too!
Delicious Indian food, and plenty of great vegetarian options! Veggiebiryani, saag paneer and paneer tikka are outstanding; Mixed veggie curry, chicken tandoori and tikka are solid. Samosa > pakora.
I love Punjabi Dhaba!!! They cook authenticIndian food at an affordable price. The cooks will accommodate to some request such making my food extra spicy!!! Only thing it's cash only but worth it.
The anda paneer is delicious, as is most other vegetarian options. The spicyomelet was amazing, but I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu. If so, it is a perfect Sunday brunch decision.
The two-floor space is spare and your food comes on a metal tray -- that's part of the charm here, where traditional Indian classics come with naan, raita and more.
Chatt is tangy, sweet and sour, spicysnack, and is available here for $3.95. Basmati rice plates start at $5.95, and they take your orders at the counter. The food is served on cool metal trays. Read more
Cash only, but there's a BofA across the street. Lively but messy ambiance with Bollywood videos playing on a small TV. The food was just ok -- not much garlic in the garlic nan and my CTM was watery.
I love this place! Choose anything. It'll be delicious. Last time I went, they were playing Indian hip hop. Not sure if they do that all the time or what.
Your clothes will immediately soak up the smell of the food. It will be your new perfume. Dress appropriately and never go here as stop #1 before a big night out.
