- Martha RotterApril 20, 2014Eggs in tasty nest is the bomb. Get it with their also very tasty bug, warm biscuits and a good diner coffee (but skip the juice)
- Ricky SherrillNovember 15, 2016I love breakfast diners and this place is a level above. They make the simple things special. Plus the people seem to really enjoy their work.
- Kourosh BehnamNovember 12, 2018I always get the eggs in a tasty 😋 nest. I substitute the bacon with avocado 🥑. Sit at the bar. Watch the cook work his magic.
- Christopher KennedyJuly 12, 2015I got the Chicken Fried Steak and loved it. My boyfriend got the Corned Beef Hash, however and found his meal to be soggy and was incapable of distinguishing the potato from the beef in the center.
- BourbonautJune 14, 2018Excellent greasy spoon. You’ll always leave with a full belly. The food is great and the prices are decent.
- The BEST breakfast in the city. Lynne, Amanda, David are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Literally everything is fantastic. Get the biscuits.
- Adam RonichNovember 13, 2010My favorite breakfast in all of California. Dineresque food with the artsy crowd. Servers are super nice. The guys cooking are fun to watch. The tasty nest is a winner. I go every time I'm in SF
- James FoxSeptember 2, 2017There is only one meal suitable for vegans on the menu: a vegan tofu scramble. Food is nice but tip from another user about vegan biscuits and gravy is wrong.
- Hana KelleyAugust 10, 2014Great place for brunch. Get the corned beef hash! You won't regret it. Well, maybe if you're on a diet you will.
- Rachel RebeccaOctober 8, 2016I had one of their scrambles and it was actually pretty good! The service was very friendly as well
- Jim RayMarch 12, 2016The staff is amazing and the food is great and cheap. Tip double what you usually do.
- Martin HeckoApril 8, 2018Don’t let the name scare you, they have plenty of vegetarian and even some vegan options!
- Diego RufoMarch 24, 2011Order the menu packed with the “greasy spoon” fare – eggs, french toast, ham, bacon, sausage, pork chops, chicken fried steak, sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides. Get there early! Read more
- Johanna HoadleyJune 25, 2012If you don't want to wait in line, head across the street and up the hill a block to All You Knead. Just as good diner style greasy food and never a wait.
- Literally the best breakfast spot in San Francisco. But don’t come here, leave all the food for me
- Clarence RosensteinMay 29, 2013Eggs in a tasty nest and chicken fried steak are amazing they also have really good grits
- Kelly H.March 8, 2014Tiny place with about 20 person capacity. Line to sit & dine extends down the street- very much worth the wait!
- Olivia NicholsonOctober 2, 2011The thing about this restaurant is that the food is really good, but I saw a beetle/cockroach inside of the fridge when the chef opened it. Needless to say that is the downfall.
- Michael StatonNovember 17, 2021It's a decent diner in a city without them, so two thumbs up. Crispy hashbrowns!
- Thomas Vander WalNovember 9, 2015I lived behind this Pork Store for 3 years and became hooked on Nadia's Special.
- Linda DunlapAugust 28, 2016Note to self...I love the Eggs in a Tasty Nest (with a small side of hollandaise).
- Jessica TaylorJanuary 18, 2016Go during the weekdays if you don't want to wait. Everything on menu is good
- Any of the scrambles mixed together with the hashbrowns is breakfast perfection
- Best hash browns in the world & food comes with them !!
- Sharon FisherOctober 20, 2018Breakfast. Don't bother coming here for anything else. Get here early to miss the line.
- Stanley JuddNovember 20, 2014Filthy and dated but no visible vermin. The food is worth it all. Coffee is average. My favorite is the sausage patty and biscuits.
- j bluNovember 4, 2010Vegans --- get the veggie sausage plate with tofu scramble and vegan biscuits and gravy. The green gravy is peppery, parsley-laced goodnes!
- RandaleJune 14, 2011Go to the one on 16th enjoy a comfy booth, tables without disintegrating bottoms, chairs from the last decade and a Fucking MIMOSA! Service is about the same, but a drink makes it tolerable.
- Julian HeinAugust 25, 2013Good food. Very popular, so there is always a little wait time. But not more then about 10 min.
- Binky BearMay 28, 2013If you're cold... go upstairs, next to the bathroom... You can get warm really quick!
