Some good pubs in Leeds and Wakefield. Not too cool, not too noisy, good beer and if they do it good food.
1. Henry Boons
Russ Johnson: Go to henry boons to experience the traditional town pub feel with a wide range of hand pulled ales
2. The Hop
Julia Ruane: Great real ales from the Ossett Brewery. Good live music. Once a month Kill for a Seat comedy night - very good!
3. Harry's Bar
Andrew Helm: Cosy little pub with regularly changing real ales.
4. Luis Bar At Fernandes
5. The Brewery Tap
Matty Brooks: Brilliant bar with a wicked selection of beers and ales, very good food and to top it off a micro brewery upstairs! Can't go wrong!
6. The Scarbrough Hotel
7. Foley’s Tap House

8. The White Swan
Jane Richardson: Really nice pub, great selection of beers and wines, laid back atmosphere - music not too loud so you can talk, perfect place to stop off before dinner in town
9. The Adelphi
10. The Hop
