One of a few bars in downtown JC which offer a neighborhood feel and a great place to hang out with friends and watch sports. Recommend over Grove St scene.

Would argue it is the only local type bar in downtown jersey city. Plays all the NFL games. Not open early morning for soccer.

Every neighborhood needs a PJ Ryan's - a never too crowded, no BS sports bar to watch the games or catch up with friends.

Menu is not very diverse but they surely have bar have musts. If you are crazy hungry, this is not your place. Hummus pita is big enough for 2.

Food was surprisingly good. The kitchen only serves bar food after 11pm, btw.

The management is stubborn and annoying and the regulars are losers... Easily the worst bar in Jersey City. Go elsewhere!
