- Vivian HuangDecember 30, 2015If you want some burrata but you also want a pizza (claaaassic dilemma) ask if they can make you a burrata pie! Then feel empowered by the success of your indecision for once! wahoo
- One of my favorite places to eat in Pac Heights, but be prepared to wait. Meatballs are fantastic, as are the fried Brussels sprouts when they have them. The pizza never disappoints.
- Wilson Favre-DelerueApril 27, 2017Have the cheeky "fries with eyes" (📷) i.e. delicious fried anchovies with 0 frier taste or smell, indulge in the mozzarella di buffala or burrata, don't miss the pizzas. Buon appetito! 😋🇮🇹
- BourbonautJune 15, 2018Great for small children. It’s loud and the fellow patrons won’t mind if your kids are too. My child loves the pizza.
- Justin McKissickSeptember 13, 2015The pizza was a but expensive, but so worth it; hands down the best pizza I have ever had. The strawberry sodas were definitely worth it as well!
- Naro CJanuary 19, 2013Can't say enough good things about the place, the food and excellent service. Tri Colore salad and Napoletana Pizza plus mozzarella and home made limeade is what I want on my last meal on earth ;-)
- Pacific UnionFebruary 21, 2013Delicious pizza and antipasti. If you're by yourself or with one other person, you can sit at the counter and watch them work magic in the kitchen. Love the prosciutto pie.
- Patrick DarmodyJanuary 10, 2015The meatballs are a hustle. The waitress will recommend them and you'll think it's a good idea, but they're 15 dollars. Taste: 8/10. Value: 3/10. Just double up on the pie. Love the chalkboard.
- Jennifer YipFebruary 22, 2016Everything is amazing including the tripe appetizer!!! 😁 Gelato is great, too 👏🏻 don't bother waiting in the long Smitten line next door!
- tt tuAugust 20, 2016I love this location specifically because it's very open and inviting. The pizza here is so fresh and great. And don't forget a side of meatballs. A must!
- Tom WangJune 9, 2015The prosciutto is easily the way to go. Don't settle for margherita. Almost as good as New York pizza...
- Stephen SaribalisDecember 28, 2015Burrata, Salsiccia, Broccoli Rabe Pizzas and Cherry Pie Special Pizza stand out for me--but everything is good.
- BommyNovember 23, 2014Amatraciana pizza is delicious. Wish pizzas were larger because slices are gone in 3 bites.
- Kelly BoneSeptember 2, 2012The Panna pizza lives up to the hype. Bold tomatoes enlivened with a splash of cream and melting ribbons of Parmigiano-Reggiano!
- EpicuriousAugust 25, 2010Craig Stoll cooks Italian food here through the lens of the Bay Area: hyperseasonal, locally sourced, and as primally satisfying as the home cooking of a Tuscan nonna. The panna cotta is legendary.
- Dennis HsuJanuary 15, 2018One of the best pizzas in SF. They also have a location in the Mission District.
- ivy♥December 30, 2012Tonight's music is fantastico. It's R&B night and I'm so in love. The vibe is great and the pizza is, obviously, awesome.
- BravoDecember 2, 2010REALLY great food – listed as Italian but really seasonal, local, fresh and extremely well-executed. They have an adorable little pizza place right next door. -Monica Pope, Top Chef
- TG TruongSeptember 1, 2014Favorite pizza in town--just like in Napoli! Great crust. Favorite is the panna pizza...
- Wendy HowellJune 5, 2011Don't worry about picking the wrong thing here- everything's amazing. But it definitely ain't undiscovered, so come at an off time if you can - this place is slammed even at off hours.
- Just had the little gem salad with the Green Goddess dressing - you must, must, must order it! Best dressing ever.
- Lauren HofffmanAugust 26, 2015they have a great dog friendly, dog-friendly outdoor space. The staff provides water for dogs!
- Liz McLean KnightOctober 25, 2016Freshly made pizza, but I got a pretty meh feeling towards the end of the night. Burny and spendy.
- Mark DanielFebruary 10, 2014The 4 cheese pizza with sausage is great, though a bit pricey at $21.50.
- lynn friedmanOctober 2, 2013I prefer the original mission street location - no spandex, fluffy dogs or pretense. oh - the pizza is amazing
- Pretty much everything is good here. The fungus pizza is amazing but only offered as a special.
- Valeria XSeptember 22, 2015Great place! I always get the prosciutto pizza. Service is good and fast.
- Carolyn W.January 31, 2013If there's a special pizza with an egg on it, get it! Chicories with fresh egg is killer. And save room for gelato.
- Viktoriya SavkinaJanuary 4, 2015If you are a vegetarian, skip margarita and order broccoli raab pizza
- Serious EatsFebruary 6, 2012Impossible to go wrong here, but the Panna and Sausage pizza is known to some as the Magic Pie. Read more
- Cindy QiuMay 29, 2013Thumbs up for the clam pie. And their red chili flakes are delicious but SPICY AS ALL GET-UP. You've been warned.
- Garrett GaudiniAugust 10, 2014Everything. Personal favorite: broccoli rabe pizza, stuffed shells, gelato
- Reesa KashukFebruary 24, 2015Really solid pizza (even from a New Yorker) and delicious vegetable sides
- Eddie KimFebruary 8, 2015Margarita pizza, meatballs, and tricolore salad is the perfect meal for two.
- petegAugust 1, 2014Wait in line. Just deal with it. Truly amazing pizza. The fried calamari is magical
- Pick up a pizza and walk over to Wine Jar. They let you bring in outside food.
- Lisa S.June 4, 2012Write your name on the chalk board if there's a wait. Be prepared to wait awhile if you're not at the top of the list.
- Ness 🌸💜🌸 MJuly 3, 2013Generally much shorter wait during week days! Free bread sticks is a nice touch!
- Zoé BecquartJanuary 2, 2015The only problem with this location is that they take a long time with everything compared to the one next to tartine
