Berk KapiciogluJune 10, 2016The sangria was the best sangria I ever drank in my life. Ceviche is a must, try the mixto. We ordered the Matador Combo and it easily fed 4 people. Service is excellent. Venue is a bit too loud.

This place is great! Delicious chicken - I had the shredded chicken with a Peruvian yellow sauce. Get the soft plantains as the side - they will rock your world. 👌🏻

The Matador lunch combo is so worth it. Peruvian chicken (you can request white or dark meat) + salad + rice and beans + a beverage is the way to go. And their Peruvian Chinese fried rice is great too

Best Peruvian in NYC. Novo andino dishes like goat-cheese qinotto and inventive sushi criollo; superb pisco cocktails; and fantastic down-home favorites like arroz chifa and pollo a la brasa.

Amazing food! Try the roast chicken it is so juicy. Will blow your mind. The limona ceviche is also one of my favs. Delicate, tender and flavorful.
Mark N.May 21, 2011I use 4sq to find good food and this place was fantastic. Jalea? Was super. Arroz chufa was great too. We live in jersey but visit fairly regularly and this was best meal in city in recent memory.
Too many good things to pick from, but the Camarones Cusco (shrimp) is amazing. Tuna Tartare is a must get. I always end with tres leches cake.
