Pier 39 is located on the northernmost point of San Francisco’s peninsula. From the pier, you can see Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, San Francisco Bay, and the city skyline.

Go and see the sea lions as the end of the pier! Dont rider the carousel - its too expensive, Take the kids to golden gate park and ride it there - way cheaper.
