My first time visiting the Philadelphia Zoo. What a great experience, every animal was breath taking. What I loved❤️the most was the PECO PRIMATE 🦍RESERVE.
If you have time, check out the Philly Zoo! America’s 1st zoo features 1,600+ animals from around the world & 42 acres of picturesque Victorian gardens. Pack lunch & have a picnic!
Not too big, and not too small, the Philadelphia Zoo is perfect for a day of family fun and exploration. If you are paying with a card, skip the line and use the kiosks, it's much faster and easier.
Still nice to check out in the colder months. Santa at the treehouse, plus you can still see a lot of the animals out. Not all of course, but I was surprised in comparison to other zoos.
You have to get the yearly membership pass! Saves you tons of money and is available for you and all your family for a low price. Special membership only visits and savings.
We took the day and went to the Philly Zoo and Dinosaur 🦖 exhibit and there’s a lot of walking 🚶🏻♀️ and a lot of up hill walking wear sneakers 👟!!! We had a remarkable day me and My Bird 🦅!!!
Great zoo with amazing new big catsexhibit. Tigers and lions can walk over you and explore the zoo. Parking is $15 and don't forget to mention if you're in the military
Avoid coming on rainy days. None of the animals are out and there was only one indoor eating area, which was filled to capacity. The children still had a wonderful time. The Primate House is the best
The new walkways in the sky for the animals were great. You can bring in your own snacks and drinks, too! They have strollers available for rent. Peacock stalking is also available.
This is Americas first Zoo.Make sure you plan on paying for parking here.leave your self enough time at this Zoo very popular.they are always upgrading this Zoo. this is a Great Zoo to visit.Have Fun.
It was normal zoo animals and activities. The kids got to ride a pony and pet animals in the petting zoo. There also a small train. The animals were active
Something for everyone. Very kid and family friendly. Weekdays are best for avoiding crowds. But bring a lunch since most food courts are closed. Love the kids petting zoo.
An early-morning, Christmas Eve fire in the 'World of Primates' building killed 23 animals in 1995, all endangered species. In 1999, the 'Peco Primate Reserve' opened to replace the lost building.

Opened in 1874, this is the first zoo in the US. It's home to more than 1,300 animals, many of which are rare & endangered and is the only zoo breeding giant otters in North America.
Right when you come into Bank of America Big Cat Falls there is a chain link fence with a bit of vegetation against it. Look down, one of the big cats likes to laze about in that shade.
