Home Sweet Beer: Not easy to find, but worth it! Since 2010 brewing the best craft beer in Beijing. If the door is closed, do not hesitate and knock! Great labels and really good atmosphere!
Ondrej Motl: Simplistic architecture, nice rooms with natural materials, comfortable beds. Their wifi connectivity is not 100% but ok. AirCon have needed power and wooden bathroom is just great. :)

The Telegraph: Originally invented in the imperial kitchens, Peking Duck is available across the capital. One of its best high-end interpretations can be found at Duck de Chine (00 86 10 6501 8881).
Rheece Reynolds: Tallest building in the downtown CBD area. Breakfasts are as usual - fantastic - plus a view of BJ to accompany! The rooms are fabulous too! Only downside is the inconvenience of 2 lobbies!
An Xiao: Nice place to hang out with friends. Pick up your drinks at the bar and head straight to the back, where the large beds can accommodate a group of 5-6.

Epicurious: French food…in a former American embassy…in Beijing, China? Sounds strange, but delicious! Daniel Boulud serves familiar French cuisine with an occasional wink at Chinese traditions.
Iris Y.: This is a great place for an intimate dinner--candle-lit terrace, tasty Yunnan eats, well-spaced tables. You've Ch'ien Men ambience w/o Maison Boulud prices. A bit too dark: eating = food hide&seek.
