A solid place for a Gold Rush themed, steampunk date night in the Financial District. Good cocktails and tasty Cal-Ital. Don't miss the Bone Marrow & Escargot and read more on WinstonWanders below. Read more
POUTINE. $12, crispyfrench fries smothered in melted cheese curds smothered in oxtail meat gravy made from the gods. Hands down the best poutine I've had in the city of San Francisco.
Really lovely during happy hour! Good for groups if you book ahead of time. They have a super cute upstairs loft that’s great for a sit down dinner. Small, cozy and great service.
Come in for the meticulously made cocktails, stay for the confused mish-mash of pre-prohibition/nautical/industrial/maritime/patriotic/steam punk decor
Steak frites were delicious! Only thing though: there was way too many fries compared to the steaks he steak portion was small while the fries were practically taking up my whole plate.
Oysters fresh. Split the crab melt with a friend, enough for two for a lite lunch. Full of crab, just a touch of cheese & mayo. Would order again. Service slow, be warned at lunchtime.
Definitely still working out the kinks. If you just want drinks you are highly discouraged/banned from sitting at a bar top. They are saving them for diners apparently and are adamant about it
Per Diem is the highlight of the Financial District, bringing the style and ambiance of San Francisco to a unique upscale venue in the heart of the City.
