A key point here is they have a great breakfast/brunch menu (I had the Huevos Rancheros) and they're much less likely to be overcrowded on the weekends compared to other places in the area.
Mmm, always hard to decide between Pan C, the breakfast burrito and chilaquiles for brunch. For dinner though, my go to is a margarita, plantains with queso fresco and sour cream, and fish tacos!
Was there today and even though i probably don't have the expertise to say this I think it was very authentic. And most importantly: food was delicious and service great
Sit out on the veranda and enjoy a delicious lunch of chicken enchiladas for only 8 dollars! Make it a true siesta and have a cold beer or a potent margarita!
I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was awesome. It had scrambled eggs, plus a lot of oaxacan cheese. It was incredibly filling and I couldn't even eat half of it. Read more
Best Mexican food in the neighborhood in my opinion. My faves include the chicken tostada or chicken nachos, but the guac and housemade chips are reason alone to drop by.
Go for the chips/guac and appetizer chicken quesadilla. The appetizer portions are generous and (if you're not starving) can be substituted for a whole entree.
Taste - Black bean and sweet plantain quesadilla; fried fish tacos with chipotle mayo; avocado black bean salad...Margaritas are also winners. Read more
This is their Tortilla Soup. Very disappointing, yuck. The chicken was in massive chunks with the boiled fat attached or floating to the top of the soup next to the melted sour cream. Nauseating.
Awesome margaritas--strong and a pitcher for 2 was cheap. Beans n rice were awesome, as was pico+chips, and the pork enchillada. Definitely going back!
Pequena is an excellent place to brunch with friends. Excellent entrees and wait staff service. Try the cheese enchilladas and home made lemonade...yum! Read more
Grapefruit margarita and coconut margarita are on point, but the guac and chips were so salty it was unbearable. Not a spot I would come to again for food, but drinks are decent.
portions are huge, but don't believe the hype around the enchiladas. service is slow, but the staff is attentive… they'll let you stay for a while. even so, i wasn't floored and left unimpressed.
