- Ms HeleneJuly 4, 2018Garlic prawns come with shells on and sautéed with mushrooms and onion. Rice and selection of beans included but topped with cheese FYI $11. Extra for whole-wheat tortilla. Chips and free salsa bar.
- Superb food. Chips are awesome and endless salsa! Each offering is really fresh and mouthwatering! Pretty impressed!
- The best salsa bar I have ever seen, excellent shrimp quesadilla, great burritos and countless full plate dinner combo options. Best taqueria in the Bay Area.
- Brandon F.August 14, 2013Best horchata I've had by far. Can't recommend much because it's all THAT good. I'd go for their chorizo corn tortilla tacos.
- Some of the best Mexican food I've had in the Bay. Fish burrito, chorizo, carnitas, are all high quality meat and delicious flavors. Good salsa selection.
- Their avoc Chix salad, chips and spicy sauce is addicting!!! Along with their tacos!
- Ask for a foil to swoop up all the carrots, radishes and peppers to go.
- Tamales are delicious. All the salsa are great especially the orange sauce.
- Rema RaoMarch 8, 2012Excellent variety...close to authentic ....and just the right taste...it looks like u can't go wrong here...the snapper was to die for...yum
- Andrea ReynaNovember 30, 2014Amazing burritos. This is the first place I've been to that offers refried black beans. Yummy!
- Luz GRSeptember 13, 2017This place is a typical California take on Mexican food, it's not the most authentic but it's very tasty
- Best downtown burrito. Get these by 1145 or wait until 1pm to avoid the rush. Can get burritos for $5/each if you buy 3. Or get a baby burrito which is more than enough to fill me up.
- David DibbleOctober 16, 2019If you need an itemized receipt for work, be sure to ask at the register... They always throw it away!
- v fMay 8, 2012Aside from delicious tacos they also make fresh smoothies and fruit and veggie juices in the jugueria.
- The orange salsa is amazeballs. Get it. Don't ask questions.
- Jessica FengJune 23, 2013Baby burrito and regular burrito are the same size... Or they just messed up the order. Salsa bar is good, just the right amount of spicy.
- StephanyMarch 19, 2011The carne asada is amazing. Perfectly seasoned and seared to perfection. Get the hot salsa instead of the mild to add some bite.
- Richard LiuNovember 3, 2009The best known taqueria in the area--I like it for the salsa bar, but overall a little pricey compared to its peers. Look for ValPak coupons to take the edge off dollarwise.
- Carlos TironaOctober 30, 2010Split the burrito. It's huge! Bean Street coffee shop next door has free wifi. Sit near the wall if you want a clear signal. ;) try the horchata!
- Super wet burrito with green sauce. Half chicken half steak. Mild salsa. Lights out.
- abigail howeApril 27, 2010excellent tacos - authentic "carne" preparation; amazing salsa bars (and years of state fair recognition) Read more
- Andrew NormanJanuary 24, 2015Bummer that they started charging for salsa. The beginning of the end for this place
- Waitstaff is great. Manager is a jackass and wouldn't honor checkin deals
- Prawn burrito is killer as is the pollo asada dinner meal
- Andrew NormanMarch 9, 2013Not that the pork and steak are bad choices, but this is chicken asada at its best
- adrian richardsonJune 2, 2010Great selection of burrito meats but the rice has veggies. La Cumbre near caltrain ftw
