- Nikki BlakeJune 22, 2013This is the oldest diner in Maine...it opened in 1927. The food is delicious not to mention that the staff and clientele are really friendly. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.
- June ENovember 13, 2014The lemon pancakes are superb. Light and fluffy and lemon burst with flavor! Delicious breads and crispy smashed potatoes pair perfectly with egg dishes. Don't miss this retro diner with a local vibe
- EpicuriousOctober 7, 2014The pancakes manage the impossible: tasting light & fresh while still being, well, pancakes. The addition of lemon juice & zest results in a pancake that's delicious even before you pour on the syrup. Read more
- Erik CintronSeptember 9, 2018This Train car is now a diner. It’s so dope only sits 15 people. The food is out of bounds. Your gonna have to wait but it’s worth it. Only open for breakfast. Great service and prices
- DebbieJuly 3, 2015The basic egg breakfast is amazing their scrambled, cheesy eggs are so flavorful. The pancakes are heaven, so light and fluffy with a hint of and orange zest. 👍🏻
- Jeremy FisherJuly 10, 2016My god, this place is good. Really can't go wrong, but you'll spend time trying to figure out how Deluxe Sandwich and Palais Royale can be so good
- Griffin PaquetteJune 23, 2014Their flapjacks sound unassuming but when you bite into them you find yourself in heaven. Absolutely delicious! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
- Deluxe sandwich. Jersey Mainers know to sub Taylor ham for bacon.
- John CarneyOctober 8, 2021The portions are big enough that you shouldn’t finish them but the food is so great that you probably will. Coffee is top rate.
- ValerieAugust 22, 2016Brown butter banana bread, corned beef hash side and the jalapeno egg sandwich. I don't think there is a bad item on the menu. This place is definitely not good for groups.
