This 16th century church is part of a strict convent. You can usually get in for mass around 6 or 7 am. It is worth making the effort as it is one of Peru's most bizarre churches.

In Inca times the plaza called Huacaypataun was twice as large as it is today. It was the Heart of Inca Cusco and remains the heart of the modern city.
