- No longer hidden, but still a gem. The taproom gets really busy on weekends now that it's been expanded and is more family friendly, so be prepared to wait for a seat but it's still worth it.
- Behrad EatsJuly 5, 2016Some of the best beers you'll find in the city, this is a must visit for any serious beer people!
- The new taproom is bigger but it’s way more packed. If you want a lot of DDH NEIPAs this spot is a fantasy. I’d recommend trying their stouts and (sometimes, very rarely) lagers; those are great too!
- Shane HuntJuly 14, 2015Get the All Green Everything. And here's the entrance if you're like me and walked around the block twice to find it.
- Cole KennedyMay 22, 2018Awesome, diverse list of IPAs. My favorite move is to pick up a sandwich at Court Street Grocers and bring it here to eat, with the beers. You know, for responsibility and such.
- Román JáquezDecember 30, 2014Excellent choices of IPAs. I love it that its a "secret gem". Some of the most delicious beers I've tasted. Next time I visit NYC, I'll return again and again until I go through their full menu.
- The best craft brewery in the city. Recent increases in production have made it much easier to get cans on the weekend. The larger tasting menu in the new space is awesome. Most DDH’s are a winner.
- The tasting room is a spacious replacement for their old sweat box and a wonderful place to sample the wares of these craft beer mad scientists. Ugly Baby, NYC's best Thai, is nearby. Bring a growler.
- Stina P.December 3, 2015this is the kind of place you want to keep a secret if you live around. great prices. great people. great beer. the tasting room is a must on a weekday!
- If you walk in an the tasting room is packed, walk through to the larger, open area. Standard IPA is solid, as is Stupid Wild. Beat It, Nerd was too fermented and funky for my taste.
- Tom MonahanFebruary 10, 2017Amazing beer and awesome space but can get SO crowded on weekend days due to can and bottle releases. I'd recommend checking out on a weekday night.
- Erik CintronJuly 29, 2018Good size brewery with 2 sides one for beer ordering and one for take home. Lots of beer which all were good cool names. Can drink by the brew vats. Good prices. Kid friendly. Good parking, no food.
- a great stop if you're in the hood. lots of choices, mostly IPAs — so maybe starting with a tasting might steer you to the ones you like best
- Cole TJune 12, 2017My favorite brewery in NYC and possibly the country. Their hoppy beers are unbelievably tasty and they rival the best of the best. Cool taproom and their can releases are long-line affairs.
- My favorite brewery in the area. Awesome vibes, delicious beers that are always changing. So many options and knowledgeable bartenders will get you a beer (or three) that you'll like
- Came around noon during beer releases and had no trouble purchasing with little to no wait. The tasting room is tiny, so expect a wait during release days. Amazing beer as always.
- I enjoy just about everything OH is doing right now, especially all the double IPAs. Loving Green Diamonds and All Citra Everything
- Other Half is one heck of a hidden gem right underneath the highway. Everything they brew is delicious. I particularly love the Green Down To The Socks. Insanely good.
- Autumn RayneJuly 23, 2018what have i been missing by never going here amazing brewery if you love craft beer you must go and if you want what they are selling for him get it early as it goes fast
- The new tasting room is a marvel of spaciousness compared to the unlovely sweat box it replaced. An exciting place to score the latest IPAs and other creations from these craft beer mad scientists.
- Martin JonassonMay 30, 2019Great beers and great, casual place. Try the IPAs on tap and buy some beer to bring home.
- Joel SavitzkyMay 31, 2014$5 flights of the 4 beers on tap. Good prices on growler fills. Fantastic, hoppy beers to boot - Well done, guys!
- BommySeptember 19, 2016Love it! Small space with a solid list of deliciously juicy beers on tap - mostly ipas and ones with interesting hops.
- Ben GaspariniJune 19, 2017Best beer in Brooklyn. The space itself is cramped and not all that interesting but I hear they are opening up some new space across the street soon :)
- Brea SimpsonMay 19, 2021Pretty good beers in a big cool space but the best thing about this spot is the classic Brooklyn hipster service.
- Try the All Green Everything. One of the fresher DIPA's I've had.
- Quan NguyenMarch 1, 2019Phenomenal IPAs always. Although it's generally packed most of the time, seating can be found within 10 min or so as groups rotate out.
- Nathan BoyerJanuary 19, 2020Beer and tons of it. Wether you like NE style IPAs, stouts, sours, etc there is a little something for every taste.
- Stewart CampbellAugust 14, 2018Beer is awesome here. Loved the space before they expanded the tasting room. It was very small and unique but now feels like any other brewery
- Great brewery doing great beers. Until they expand there will be a line to get in.
- Kalle RDecember 30, 2017Was super packed when I visited, but the beers are divine, probably the best local stuff you’ll find.
- The brew great beer, and especially great IPAs. Small taproom. Right off the F.
- Dan BudFebruary 16, 2018Some of the best beer on the planet. Get ready for mostly high octane brews (8% and up)!
- KJanuary 31, 2016Best brewery we've been to...they are all about their IPAs. Space is small but had a great feel to it!
- Gizem KSeptember 28, 2014Best IPAs in nyc. Small tasting room but worth the visit. Make sure to take a growler home.
- Nicky PetroniMay 6, 2019By far, my favorite brewery in NYC. Come for the super dank IPA’s. They’re sure to please
- Gabriel HayesAugust 9, 2015In my opinion, Other Half is making the the best IPAs and the best beer in Brooklyn and New York City.
- The best beer in New York, hands down. Get something on tap, come back Saturday's for exclusive brewery-release cans.
- Joey JAugust 15, 2015Great beer. Worth the trip if you take your breweries seriously. However, the location is weird and a bit sketchy. Good times either way.
- Tina CJuly 26, 2019Love their beer so much. Place gets super crowded on the weekends. Come early and enjoy!
- NikuApril 10, 2019Honestly you can’t go wrong here. Try everything in 4oz pours so you can try more !
- Simply the best brewery to visit in NYC. Just a ton of new and evolving DIPAs
- Small tasting room but some of the best beers in New York City!
- Dan SohaydaMay 7, 2018Great beer, great people, great venue. I wish it was closer to where I live so I can visit more often.
- Steven JohansenFebruary 3, 2015All the beers were world class. Crowded. Not as thrilled about the brewery cats.
- Mike ShermanJanuary 14, 2018The beer is good and the word is out. Great if you’re a tourist and don’t mind the manhattan-like crowds.
