No longer hidden, but still a gem. The taproom gets really busy on weekends now that it's been expanded and is more family friendly, so be prepared to wait for a seat but it's still worth it.
The new taproom is bigger but it’s way more packed. If you want a lot of DDH NEIPAs this spot is a fantasy. I’d recommend trying their stouts and (sometimes, very rarely) lagers; those are great too!
Awesome, diverse list of IPAs. My favorite move is to pick up a sandwich at Court Street Grocers and bring it here to eat, with the beers. You know, for responsibility and such.
Excellent choices of IPAs. I love it that its a "secret gem". Some of the most delicious beers I've tasted. Next time I visit NYC, I'll return again and again until I go through their full menu.
The tasting room is a spacious replacement for their old sweat box and a wonderful place to sample the wares of these craft beer mad scientists. Ugly Baby, NYC's best Thai, is nearby. Bring a growler.
The best craft brewery in the city. Recent increases in production have made it much easier to get cans on the weekend. The larger tasting menu in the new space is awesome. Most DDH’s are a winner.
If you walk in an the tasting room is packed, walk through to the larger, open area. Standard IPA is solid, as is Stupid Wild. Beat It, Nerd was too fermented and funky for my taste.
this is the kind of place you want to keep a secret if you live around. great prices. great people. great beer. the tasting room is a must on a weekday!
Good size brewery with 2 sides one for beer ordering and one for take home. Lots of beer which all were good cool names. Can drink by the brew vats. Good prices. Kid friendly. Good parking, no food.
My favorite brewery in NYC and possibly the country. Their hoppy beers are unbelievably tasty and they rival the best of the best. Cool taproom and their can releases are long-line affairs.
My favorite brewery in the area. Awesome vibes, delicious beers that are always changing. So many options and knowledgeable bartenders will get you a beer (or three) that you'll like
Came around noon during beer releases and had no trouble purchasing with little to no wait. The tasting room is tiny, so expect a wait during release days. Amazing beer as always.
Other Half is one heck of a hidden gem right underneath the highway. Everything they brew is delicious. I particularly love the Green Down To The Socks. Insanely good.
what have i been missing by never going here amazing brewery if you love craft beer you must go and if you want what they are selling for him get it early as it goes fast
The new tasting room is a marvel of spaciousness compared to the unlovely sweat box it replaced. An exciting place to score the latest IPAs and other creations from these craft beer mad scientists.
Best beer in Brooklyn. The space itself is cramped and not all that interesting but I hear they are opening up some new space across the street soon :)
