Cute little Italian spot, in restaurant row closest to 8th Ave... some classic dishes and few unique ones - all of it was tasty and fresh!!! The pizzas are very thin crust and will melt in your mouth
"It’s a great place to go at 6 o’clock before curtain, but also 11 o’clock after shows. Everything about Orso is a 10." - Bernie Telsey, founder - Telsey + Company Read more
Great food, good portions. The liver is the house specialty. Try for a reservation at 8pm or after theater for the best chance of getting a table, or book up to a month in advance for pre-theater.
Decent food, but there is much better Italian in NYC. Fussili w/mushroom was good. Pappardelle was pretty good. Margherita Pizza had a weird taste, didn't taste fresh. Chocolate Cake here was good!
Saw some very good ratings and expected great things. Food was good but had better. Service was horrible. We were given the bill before even finishing our meals and drinks. Very overrated!
Not terrible, but absolutely not worth the money - better Italian food can be had for much less elsewhere. From the patrons it looked to be a destination restaurant, rather than about the food.
