- RisaOctober 12, 2014This temple-like building is ideal for hushed, meditative appreciation of the Opus One single vintage. Bonus: this is the only place you can purchase Overture, their yearly second wine.
- Rewan PartiNovember 23, 2017Order yourself a flight of wine with 2012,2014 and the overture for $70. You could also reserve a tour in advance for $85 which comes with tasting the overture and 2014 opus one. Go visit the terrace!
- Andy WangJuly 3, 2017Beautiful and austere property and tasting room. 2013 is still too young. Overture is much more approachable now. Worth the visit but not sure if the wine is worth the $$$ compared to Other cult cabs
- Jess O. 😜October 14, 2012How do you not love the marketing at Opus One!?! We're consistently drawn to the beauty and ambiance of this property as if it were a magnet. Grab a bottle of Overture during your visit!
- Nicole MeierMay 30, 2016Magnificent view and surroundings to enjoy an exquisite 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon.
- JoeyJune 1, 2013Don't forget the Tums...and the pink slip to your car or your first born to pay for the tasting
- Cynthia DrescherNovember 18, 2012Tour & tasting is $60. Tasting & intro happens in this room, which feels less a winery & more like a private home.
- MaryAugust 20, 2012Love the 2008 vintage! Caleb gave us a wonderful tour of the winery and barrel room. The grounds and views are amazing!
- Robert JensenJuly 29, 2016It's been two years since I've last visited, still great wine with perfect vista
- Dan VallesJuly 11, 2012Hands down the best glass (yes tastings here are by the glass) of wine you'll have in the valley!
- Burt HermanMay 17, 2013Try a $40 glass of wine (cheaper than the $300 bottle!). They do have a less expensive wine for around $80/bottle to buy
- Sonya SinghNovember 27, 2010Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. There are 2 wines for tasting ( charged separately) but no flights so it's more akin to ordering wine at a bar. Nice tasting room though!
- Ariel ElizabethFebruary 18, 2012They only have red wines to sample. The 2005 is $40 and the 2008 is $35. I prefer wine flights over one pour, but the view from the terrace was nice.
- Alex BradleySeptember 4, 2010Generous pours for the $30 fee, so good to share. Take your glass up to the terrace on the roof rather than staing downstaris.
- The wine is amazing-it doesn't matter if it's just red wine. The wine is velvet in a glass!
- Joshua SamuelsSeptember 2, 20112007 if you like a soft CA style cab. 2006 if you like a french style cab. both if you are anything like me.
- Compare and contrast a glass of the 2005 with the 2007 in the Partner's Room
- Buy one glass of the 05 and one of the 06 and compare...
