Line up 30 minutes before show time and once they open the doors go right up to one of the lines formed on either side of the stage for your chance to be on stage for drinks and the amazing pre-show
Go early and go on stage to the bar to order a drink. Musicians/actors come on stage like it's an Irish pub and they play and sing, come and go. They'll eventually get you to sit and the show begins.
The singing was beautiful, cast was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably one of the best shows I've seen in NYC! Warning: expect to cry again - ending is so sad T.T
Go to see Once before it's TOO LATE!!! And try to get in the theatre about 30 min earlier and get onto the stage to enjoy the preshow LIVE music with the cast!!!
So many cliches in the script, I had to stifle my groans. I eventually became disdainful of the audience. I felt for the actors. They had to stand up there & do that treacle like it mattered.
The show was good for the most part. Characters are more comedic versus the depth in the movie. Some plots are confusing unless you see the movie before. Three songs made me goose bumped.
The show was simply soporific. I wondered if the audience (who was seemingly gushing over it) had gone mad, or had I. I couldn't have cared less about the characters or their mundane emotional lives.
Sensacional!!! Se você viu o filme vai se emocionar. Se ainda não viu, venha assim mesmo. Músicos excepcionais, história fantástica. Vale muito a pena.
