- Best falafel I've had in San Francisco, get the vegetarian plate with an extra side of falafel
- Recently moved a couple of doors down and expanded. Nice back patio area! The platters are superior to the wraps, BTW. Pitas are $1 a pop now, but you still get complimentary olives & pickles.
- Benjy WeinbergerAugust 18, 2014Pro tip: they'll sell you a bag of 5 pitas for $5, and they're better than the hard flat ones you get at grocery stores (although still not as thick and fluffy as they should be).
- GusMarch 24, 2019Stuffed falafel is delicious! Combine with mossabaka and a carrot juice! The outside patio with the water fountains is very relaxing!
- Sandra CifoMarch 24, 2019Great Mossabaka, stuffed falafel and chicken !!!! This and Tahini restaurant are my top choices in the city. Great service too!!
- Cherrie CJanuary 19, 2012Portions are huge, def recommend sharing. Shish Kabab lamb was delicious. Hummus with shawerma dish-- lamb was a bit dry. Everything is very filling! The Warbat for dessert is gooood.
- Mona SJanuary 25, 2014Yum - got the Qudsiyah (hummus with foul) and combo plate (Shish tawouk and kebab were great, the lamb a bit too tough)
- Tobias SchmidtMay 17, 2017Decent but by no means exceptional Levantine food. Try the mossabaka (hummus mixed with whole chickpeas)
- Get the half & half if you can't decide between rice and hummus!
- SashaOctober 12, 2013Great legit middle eastern food. Now my favorite in SF. Very nice staff. Falafel wrap is so fresh.
- Joshua NguyenJanuary 10, 2012Bright mezzes and all the staples like lamb kebaps - they're huge portions and a great South Mission joint for those foggy nights.
- Jewely HoxieFebruary 22, 2013Don't forget to snap a pic in front of the famous camel painting! Also super dank food at a good price, love this place!
- Feta with meat is what you should order. Has pieces of pita in the hummus. What I always get when I come.
- Benjy WeinbergerAugust 18, 2014Don't get the wraps, you can't get decent lavash in SF and they're no exception. Plus, the other dishes come with some pretty decent pita bread.
- The Bold ItalicMarch 15, 2011If you want to extra impress, order the Mossabaha, a chunky, spicy hummus that's topped with olive oil and served with house-made bread. Read more
- shish taouk is my favorite - and they have the best humous outside the middle east.
- Jess HMarch 21, 2009Order a dozen falafel balls, baba ghanoush, and hummus to go. Take it home and make your own awesome falafel sandwiches.
- Ugur KanerJuly 4, 2017Rather decent Middle Eastern food. Lentil soup is good. Service is in the slower side.
- Rachel RebeccaOctober 8, 2016The food was actually OK here, but what I did not appreciate was the discrimination that went on here. When I went back for a second time, they refused me entrance.
- The Hummus is usually exceptional but it could vary with age. For best results early lunch will do
