A must if you are in Tallinn for the first time. Honey beer, bear, wild boar, Neptune's platter, all good. Unique medieval atmosphere, check out the loos! I'm local and I still love this place.

2nd time here. I had to finally try the bear (main): nice, but too strong for the size of the course (I couldn't eat all). I recommend the sausages (elk, bear and boar) and the duck. Big portions!

Very nice atmosphere, unique settings for a travel back in time with Medieval food and beers. Ask for a table inside upsters and try also the toilet at the second floor!

Amazing ancient restaurant in old city of Tallinn.. You will be served by middle age peasants. Wonderful interior and interesting atmosphere with candle lights. venison + honey beer recommended 👌🦌🍺

It would b a crime of the century if u leave Tallinnn without visiting this Medieval wonder. Mushroom soup. Sweet almonds from outdoor stall. Honey beer in clay tankard! Excellent service

Do try the dark honey beer, its awesome! Have some dried elk meat with it (a bit on the small side). Great medieval ambiance and did I mention the dark honey beer already?

Located in the center of OldTown. Very medieval place with atmosphere and staff in medieval dresses. Food is very good, beers are awesome. Staff is very friendly. Quite expensive. See upstairs and wc.

Authentic medieval atmosphere with excellent attention to detail. Dark honey beer is a MUST - best drink ever! Loved the sausages - cheaper way to try bear. Yes expensive but worth it. Staff lovely.

You should have dinner at this place. Awesome decoration, delicious meat and honey beer is super! You feel like as you live in the middle age years. Don't forget the take pictures of the rest rooms

This is definitely a must when visiting Tallin. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Try the honey beer while waiting for your main - and traditional - dish.

Wild boar plate is amazing — so many great flavours. Get some honey beer, too. As for the service — must be one of the best I’ve experienced in Nordics 👍

It is cozy, serves authentic food. especially the bread is so delicious. Light cinnamon beer is good choice. inner design is cozy, i wish they also collect cellphones to match with the theme.

Must come to this place when visit Tallinn! Always packed with a bit slow food but it's worth to wait! Unique ambience very nice service and excellent food indeed!

The rustic feel and great quality of the food. The friendly staff and the gruit. If you havent been here I advise you to go. After visit the shop and buy yourself some handmade glassware.

This place is a must when in Tallinn: great medieval atmosphere and funny waiters. A bit pricey, but it is worth it! Try the salmon with a honey beer.

The liver pate was amazing, as was the duck and elk. Definitely would go back, especially since it is so fun with everyone in traditional dress as if we are actually in medieval times.

Atmosphere of restaurant together with customes of waiters take you to middle age era. So, lf you visit Talinn Old Town, don’t miss visiting Old Hansa... l ordered lamp was quite tasty.

Typical Estonian medieval food, in a historical building, right in Tallinn's Old Town. Open until very late. Average-high prices. Try the honey beer.

Olde hansa has positives and negatives. Ambiance is really good, I preferred beef as a main dish but it was dissapointing. Staff was friendly. The place does not fulfill your expectations. Try 🐻 meat

A great place for a medieval atmosphere, friendly service and the food is very different than we are used to eat on a daily basis. Enjoyable and unique! :)

Excellent beer with cinnamon and very tasty dark honey beer. Medieval live music and interior. True candles and clay mugs are everywhere!so it's a very nice, but pretty expensive. Rose pudding is yum!

One of the most famous spot in Tallinn. Recommended as must visit by many people who has been here. Honey beer should be one of my all time favourates. Medieval food including bear, rabbit, elk meat..

I have no idea what I was actually drinking (got surprised), but it was strong and it was great! This place is highly recommended if you're a tourist and wanna just enjoy being a tourist.

It is THE thing you do in Tallinn. It's fun, it's good food, it's pricey, it's full of tourist. But why not?! It's delicious and you can't get more GoT feeling!

Medieval restaurant with tasteful food, awasome staff, live medieval music, and an incredibly charming ambient.There're 32/40/69 € menus that allows you tasting many dishes.Not so cheap but amazing.

Yes, this is a tourist trap. But a very good one. The waiters pretend to be from older times. The food and beer is excellent as well!

Myös tummaa hunajaolutta oli tarjolla oluen ystäville. Himalajan lammas on myös mukava, mutta annos on vähän pieni. Muista kokeilla karhua, kuningas Waldermarin suosikkiruokaa. niin herkullista.

The cinnamon beer is fantastic (not altogether different than pumpkin spice lagers in the U.S.). Somewhat pricey but good food and entertaining atmosphere/service

Oh, they have magical Earl’s Forest Mushroom Soup. Most fantastic is that controlled substances are not used for creating this magical soup.

I love this place! Atmosphere and food are medieval, hundreds of candles, very polite waitresses. Menu is unique. Food is good, honey beer is from heaven...
