From the right side of the parking area, there is a great vantage of the Golden Gate Bridge. Get low and try to capture one of the rusty chains in the foreground with the bridge in the background.
Hopefully you brought a camera here. Definitely the best view and place to get a photo of the Gold Gate Bridge.
To get the bridge with the city of San Francisco in the background, pull over about half way up Conzelman Road. There's one spot where the Trans America Pyramid lines up with the North Tower.
To get the classic shot of the bridge from the ocean side, park at Baker Beach and walk along the shore to Marshall Beach, where you can frame the scene with surf on the rocks in the foreground.

On Sundays, the streets in the park are closed to traffic. It's a great place to ride a bike, walk, relax outside of the conservatory of flowers, or listen to live concerts at the music concourse.

The Palace of Fine Arts is a neo-classical "ruin" originally constructed for the 1915 World's Fair and is the only structure from the historic event that is still situated on its original site.
Drive up Conzelman Road to Hawk Hill, it's the furthest you can go before having to turn around or drive down the one way road. Hawk Hill is the best place to take photos of the city & the bridge.
