- Molly FreemanFebruary 26, 2016Had the special General Tso's wings and they were the best wings I've ever had! Plus they have raspberry Woodchuck hard cider by the bottle, which is hard to find.
- Hefty servings and a great ever-changing beer list. This becomes an Oklahoma Sooners bar on Saturdays in the fall and a Mets bar all baseball season. Cool locals know about and take part in Mug Club.
- Staff PicksSeptember 29, 2014Enjoy the last few warm weather days on the back patio of this new Southern spot. Come for the food, but stay for the extensive beer selection (we like the Firestone Wooky Jack). Read more
- Boris JonesApril 8, 2015If you’re a fan of all things meat and BBQ, you’ll love Northern Bell. Read, Elk, Bison, Chicken, Boar, you name it. Enjoy a later summer eve in the cute little back patio area. Read more
- Edwina McGregorMay 27, 2023Beautiful outdoor backyard in the summer, great music, chill vibes and excellent friendly staff. Cocktails are good and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.Upvoted Aug 24
- Alexandra d'ArchangeloJune 12, 2014Good people. Good selection of craft beers. Still fine-tuning their vegetarian/vegan options, which is what we might expect from an NC BBQ inspired place.
- Max FulgoniMarch 7, 2016Fried avocado is amazing as is Chris the bartender who knows beer like the back of his hand
- Alex StillFebruary 24, 2020This place has a great, classic bar burger. Mine was served perfectly medium-rare with a nice char. Good wings, too.
- CarleenJuly 31, 2015whiskey, wings + a huge outdoor space?! also, you have to get the banana maple habanero wings.
- Best wings in NY so far and I know a lot about wings. Trust me.
- Alex PhelanNovember 18, 2014Charming new neighborhood spot. Great rotating draft list, friendly service, and a PERFECT back patio. Bell-isimo.
- Amy TremmelJanuary 12, 2015Biscuits & gravy and the chicken & waffles are the way to go. Free mimosa or Bellini with brunch!
- JesseMay 21, 2014Big outdoor garden in the back. Great food and staff. Steps from the L train. Solid joint.
- Thomas HellmerJune 2, 2014Margaritas were mostly ice water with tiny bit of margarita. Pulled pork was watery and hardly any BBQ sauce to go with it. Hush puppies were simply cornbread. Add some onions and garlic.
- Sarah SchwartzJune 10, 2014Staff were super friendly. The chopped chicken sandwich was really yummy! Also very good prices.
- Jillian AdelMay 26, 2014Elk burger was great and they pickle their own stuff. Drinks are STRONG. Staff is super sweet
- Bob RichardsJune 11, 2014Backyard is pretty quality. Beer selection is awesome for the area and the Boar belly rocks.
- Michael BradyAugust 7, 2014Friendly staff and a pretty backyard with a brick wall warmed by the neighboring bakery's oven is quite a draw. But the vegetarian food is underwhelming at best. I doubt I'll give it another try.
- Danny NathanAugust 7, 2014We stopped by for dinner but found the veggie food offerings utterly bland haven't been back, although the beer selection is solid.
- DaveJune 15, 2014Nice beer garden, well shaded. The food isn't bad but it's not amazing. Pulled pork is a bit watery, the salad was soggy and the citrus vinaigrette was far to vinegary. 6/10. Friendly staff though.
- In my opinion all green beans should be served with bacon, and they sure are here.
- Michael AnthonyOctober 10, 2016Biscuits fall apart in a bad way, food is more photogenic than actually good.
- BKbybike NYCAugust 3, 2014The backyard is great. Cobb salad is pleasant. Everything else is underwhelming.
- Amanda WashJune 29, 2014We were excited to try this place, very disappointed. Wouldn't go back. Staff was friendly but food was terrible. 3 egg omelette, no way it was more than 1.5 eggs, 8 ounce burger was maybe 4 &overcook
- Lauren HansenJuly 26, 2015Went here for brunch and ordered the fried chicken and waffles. When I received and cut into my order, the chicken was still raw. No thanks, never again.
