A Bushwick dining institution with a creative and seasonal New American menu celebrating foraged ingredients and nose-to-tail preparations of locally sourced organic meats.
Perfect appertizer and main dish, the chalkboard wine was good for the price and the service and atmosphere was very much above good. We waited 10-15 for our first dish and some 10 main for the main.
My girlfriend's and my favorite burger in NYC - we've been coming here for years & someday we'll have some of their other amazing food (maybe not though because the burger is too good)
Get the Northeast Kingdom burger. As a lover of all things burger I must say it was one of the best I've had. For the first time the toppings meant nothing, it was all about the delicious meat.
Awesome drinks and a great atmosphere made for an intimate night out. The homemade ketchup topped off the burger of a lifetime. You also cannot pass up a farm-to-table/sustainable establishment.
Favorite neighborhood spot! Great for grabbing drinks. The food is always delicious! Try the NEK burger! It's juicy and so filling, (it's grass fed beef) your mouth will thank you.
Taste - Seasonal salad special; mac & cheese; chicken pot pie (Chicken pot pie is a signature dish, made with organic meat stewed with peas, carrots, and thyme, and crowned by a thick, flaky crust) Read more
holy moly their duck and pork sirloin dishes are so freaking good. also must get their sweet potato dessert - it was ridic. for cocktails get the sazerac
The cheeseburger Benedict rules. Especially if a friend orders the shrimp and grits and shares some sauce. The shrimp and grits is amazing just a little too much sauce
My friend's duck breast was overcooked and they were so fantastic and accommodating about giving her a new portion. They even sent her a glass of wine and salad. Great service!
I don't want to be that guy, but.... No burger on their brunch menu? The burger is arguable their best menu item. Every other brunch spot in Brooklyn offers a burger. Fail NEK!
