- Clean, flavorful cups of George Howell coffee are on tap at neighborhood stalwart NoHo Star. Pricy at north of $3 a cup, yes, but refills are forthcoming. On the coffee list in Summer 2013: Brazil.
- The "wake up shake up" breakfast smoothie thing is one of my fav bfast treats in the hood. Make sure to ask if they have the Waffle Eggs Benedict.

- Jen makes the best drinks! I hear the food is good too. Try the basil gimlet, or if you ask nicely, she'll make you a ginger margarita with gin. Just trust me.
- The go-to groups of food (burgers, omelets, salads) belie the wide variety of choices and flavors served up at this longtime NoHo presence. Quality was up-and-down in '11, but mostly a winning choice.
- Pete MApril 7, 2014scrambled egg BLT came on a single piece of bread despite being listed under 'sandwiches' (i.e. TWO pieces of bread). also had hidden lemon slices and strangely tasted faintly of fish. delicious.

- You HAVE to try the eggs benedict with apples on french toast..make sure you ask for bacon so the sweetness evens out..it sounds weird but its seriously amazing!

- Katie EytchFebruary 14, 2016Came in expecting the ribs to be bomb. They weren't. The meat would stick to the bone and the ginger glaze tasted nothing like ginger. The best part was they give you a bowl of water for your fingers.
- Get the 14 ingredient salad and ask them to add fried chicken!! Great bread too.
