@StratosAthens: The structure was built in 1842 as a house for Antonis Dimitriou, a wealthy Greek from the island of Limnos. Bought in 1874 by Efstathios Lampas, who restored it & named it Grande Bretagne.
@StratosAthens: The neoclassical three-floor building designed by Friedrich von Gärtner and completed in 1843. Initially a place, on November 1929 the government decided that it would house the Parliament.
Onic Palandjian: One of the best value for money places in Athens. Fantastic food, great service and a fun ambiance. Do try the Brazilian style meat and the πικάνια. And do try the rosti!
@StratosAthens: Not your average Hilton. Renovated prior to the Olympic Games. Galaxy roof-top bar has a super view, although be warned: it is ridiculously expensive.
Olga N: Left of the teleferique on Plutarch street in Kolonaki there's a footpath leading to the top of the hill, if you are up to hiking. Another path will take you down the other side towards Ambelokipi.
