Nico: So far the best Italian pizza in Shoreditch. Check out the focaccia con Lardo, a true Italian delicatesse.

Best Bars: A charming and colourful rooftop with odes to Italy in the form of finger-licking antipasti, fantastic rosticceria and an amazing selection of spritzes.They also have little huts for chilly nights. Read more.

Nico: Nice place to work from, decent coffee and good food but very busy during the week.

Lucky Magazine: Come on a Saturday when people-watching is at its peak. Queue up for Violet’s éclairs, then peruse the handmade knickers, Karin Andreasson’s ’20s-era jewelry & Kate Sheridan’s bright canvas carryalls.

Nico: An original place where you can have a very tasty hamburger, not my favorite in London thought.

Daniel Bower: Nothing beats wandering over to the Bakehouse on a nice morning to pick up some freshly made sourdough.
