To get here you have to walk about a mile and a half on the railroad path. Be careful and watch out for the train. But definitely worth the journey. Beautiful falls!

Ashland has many hidden secrets. One not so hidden but often missed is Lithia Park. It's a thin stream (w/a gorgeous creek) of a Park that runs for a few miles. Same designer as SF's Golden Gate Park.
Originally called, New Sammy's Cowboy Bistro is a destination wine lover's find. Wed-Sun. Lunch is the steal. $15 per plate. It's one of the reasons I moved to this town. No website but worth finding.
