I've stayed here many times and it is fantastic. They are currently building a laundry room so that is a plus! Breakfast is ok but there is a great cafe next door! Friendly people!
Claire AMay 24, 2013If you're staying in BK, stay here! I've stayed here twice and have net awesome people both times. They have barbecues and movie nights occasionally. Also, they have a great breakfast spread.
RobinMarch 30, 2014Highly recommended. A couple of mins from the L line to Manhattan (if you have a MetroCard, which you should) and many parts of Williamsburg. Heaters are available on the front desk if you are cold.

Fine place with friendly staff, but make sure you don't get put into rooms 106/107. They're right above the basement bar and the bass of the music literally makes the beds vibrate until at least 4am.
Daniel DSeptember 3, 2011Great hostel in an extremely hip Brooklyn neighbourhood. About 20 minutes from Manhattan via the subway's L line, be sure to exit Morgan station at the far right end of the platform to find it.
Clean, in a great neughbourhood and very friendly staff! Their breakfast isn't the best but it's o-kay. Stayed in both private and dorm room: dorm better!!

PamelaNovember 9, 2010Signs are stenciled on the ground starting from the subway and there's places to eat on the block (may I suggest cafe Orwell a door or two down?). I came here on first trip out of CA. safe&clean.
Best place to stay. Loved my stay here while waiting for my apartment to be ready. Good location, great people, and cheap!

Great place&location but needs A LOT of TLC in the bathroom + a makeovers.Breakfast is very simple but does the job,the bread is awesome...waffles not so much.Get ur WI-FI password @reception 4FREE
Virgil NilsonJanuary 28, 2010It's actually just two blocks from the L line so the location is quite convenient. Four stops to Bedford and 6/7 to Union Square. It's also modern and clean, awesome find overall.

I'm over 40 and traveled with a group of 13 twenty-somethings - we all loved it. The rooms for 4 came with a private bath which was a HUGE plus!
2 blocks ago from L train, 15 minutes to Union Square, great ambience, barbeques 3 times a week, breakfast is ok. Great hostel.
Caroline DNovember 2, 2011Great non-bunk bed dorms with personal lights and lockers! Bit of a yuck breakkie, everything is bought en masse and not very tasty.
What a shitty place. Despite shitty breakfast. The manager thought it was OK to invade our room at mid-fucking-night to tell us we are not supposed to be in the here, but guess what? They fucked up!
The staff can be bitchy, but I liked it a lot. Bring your own towels & blanket, they charge here!

Gran ubicación (a tres cuadras del metro). Limpio, bonito, con mucha onda. Es un poquito caro para ser hostal pero vale la pena.
El Hostel es LO MAS!! Es super recomendable. Las habitaciones privadas son bárbaras. Preguntar por Esteban, de esos argentinos mágicos que habitan el mundo :)
